{"id":11172,"date":"2023-09-08T13:45:13","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T12:45:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sukkatshalom-bneinoach.com\/?p=11172"},"modified":"2025-08-17T14:36:34","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T13:36:34","slug":"rabbi-tani-burton-parshat-nitzavim-vayelech-choose-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sukkatshalom-bneinoach.com\/de\/rabbi-tani-burton-parshat-nitzavim-vayelech-choose-life\/","title":{"rendered":"PARSHAT NITZAVIM \u2013 VAYELECH: W\u00c4HLE DAS LEBEN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>\u05d1\u05e1 \"\u05d3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Siehe, ich habe euch heute Leben und Gutes, Tod und B\u00f6ses vorgelegt (Deuteronomium 30,15).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2026daher w\u00e4hlt das Leben, damit ihr leben k\u00f6nnt, ihr und eure Nachkommen (ebd., Vers 19).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Irgendwann gab es den Trend, gro\u00dfe, wei\u00dfe T-Shirts mit dem Aufdruck \u201cCHOOSE LIFE\u201d in gro\u00dfen, schwarzen Buchstaben zu tragen. Ich habe nie gewusst, ob damit \u201cGenie\u00df das Leben!\u201d gemeint war oder eine Art vage christliche Missionsbotschaft. Aber die Leute kauften diese T-Shirts massenhaft. \u00c4hnliche Phrasen haben Eingang in die Popkultur und die Motivationsliteratur gefunden, wie zum Beispiel im Lateinischen. <em>nutze den Tag<\/em>.Es hat etwas Reizvolles, die eigenen Bedenken zu \u00fcberwinden und entweder das zu tun, was man tun w\u00fcrde, wenn man w\u00fcsste, dass man nicht scheitern k\u00f6nnte, oder jeden Augenblick des Lebens zu genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Vers lautet: \u201cSiehe, ich habe euch heute Gutes und Leben, B\u00f6ses und Tod vorgelegt.\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Deuteronomy.30.15?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\">Deuteronomium 30:15)<\/a>.Raschi (a.a.O.) bemerkt, dass die Gegen\u00fcberstellung der Konzepte einen Zusammenhang nahelegt: \u201cWenn du Gutes tust, erf\u00e4hrst du Leben, und wenn du B\u00f6ses tust, erf\u00e4hrst du den Tod.\u201d Es handelt sich nicht um eine klassische \u201cWenn-dann\u201d-Aussage; in jedem Paar geschehen die beiden Dinge gleichzeitig. Es gibt eine Seinsweise, die, weil sie gut ist, Leben ist, und eine andere, die tot ist, weil sie nicht gut ist. Weiter unten sagt Mose: \u201cUnd du sollst das Leben w\u00e4hlen.\u201d (Vers 19). Nun ist es nat\u00fcrlich nicht irgendein Leben, sondern \u2026 <em>Die<\/em> Leben: ein Leben, das von der Tora durchdrungen ist, erf\u00fcllt von einer tiefen Verbindung zu Gott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus handelt es sich, dem Text folgend, nicht um ein Gebot; der Wert dieses Lebens, das wir leben sollen, steht in direktem Verh\u00e4ltnis dazu, wie sehr wir es selbst w\u00e4hlen. Das k\u00f6nnen wir aus unserem eigenen Leben nachvollziehen. Wenn Ihnen die Grundschule als Kind keinen Spa\u00df gemacht hat, Sie aber als Erwachsener Freude am Lernen empfinden, liegt das fehlende Glied wahrscheinlich in der Wahlfreiheit. Wir haben Einfluss auf das, wof\u00fcr wir uns entscheiden.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cW\u00e4hle das Leben\u201d ist also ein Gebot. Raschi (a.a.O.) f\u00fchrt die Analogie eines Vaters an, der seinen Sohn \u00fcber sein Land f\u00fchrt und ihm sagt, er solle sich ein besonders gutes St\u00fcck Land aussuchen. Der Vater, weiser als sein Sohn, l\u00e4sst ihn nicht einfach irgendein St\u00fcck nehmen, sondern f\u00fchrt ihn zum besten Teil und sagt: \u201cNimm dieses.\u201d Der Vater lehrt seinen Sohn damit, das Gute zu erkennen und weise Entscheidungen zu treffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Rest des Verses lautet: \u201c(W\u00e4hlt das Leben), damit ihr und eure Nachkommen leben k\u00f6nnt\u201d (ebd.). Entscheidet euch, Gott n\u00e4herzukommen und euer Leben durch seine Tora verwandeln zu lassen, damit euer Leben wahrhaftig als lebendig bezeichnet werden kann: aufrichtig, heilsam, mitf\u00fchlend, barmherzig und g\u00fctig.
