Mose 48,1 \u2013 WAR JAKOB KRANK?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNach diesen Ereignissen sagte jemand zu Josef: Siehe, dein Vater ist krank\u2026 (Genesis 48:1).\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dem Talmud (Baba Metzia 87a) zufolge gab es bis zu Jakob keine Krankheit. Dann betete Jakob, dass die Menschen vor ihrem Tod krank w\u00fcrden, und Krankheit entstand. Vor Jakobs Gebet hatten die Menschen keine Vorwarnung vor dem nahenden Ende ihres Lebens. Nun hatten sie die M\u00f6glichkeit, ihr Leben zu regeln. Unsere Weisen lehren, dass die Menschen zuvor nur niesten mussten und ihre Seele dann erlosch. <a><\/a>Sie verlassen ihren K\u00f6rper. Dies ist der Ursprung des Brauchs, Menschen mit einem langen Leben zu segnen, wenn sie niesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>Als Gott Abraham erschien (Genesis 18,1), erkl\u00e4rt Raschi, dass dies geschah, um die Kranken nach seiner Beschneidung zu besuchen. Offenbar gab es also schon vor Jakob Krankheiten. Das Sefer Itturei Torah erkl\u00e4rt, dass es vor Jakob keine t\u00f6dlichen Krankheiten gab, die Menschen aber verwundet wurden.
