Diese Pflicht wird im Abschnitt zweimal erw\u00e4hnt, jeweils mit einer doppelten Formulierung. Das erste Gebot lautet: \u201cDu sollst deine Hand \u00f6ffnen\u201d, und das zweite: \u201cDu sollst ihm geben\u201d. In beiden Geboten verwendet die Tora eine doppelte Formulierung: \u201c\u00f6ffne, du sollst \u00f6ffnen\u201d und \u201cgib, du sollst geben\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese doppelte Formulierung bedeutet, dass die Pflicht zur Wohlt\u00e4tigkeit nicht auf eine einmalige Spende beschr\u00e4nkt ist, sondern wiederholtes Geben erfordert. Die Tora betont, dass man Bed\u00fcrftigen tats\u00e4chlich das geben muss, was sie ben\u00f6tigen. Die doppelte Formulierung unterstreicht, dass Wohlt\u00e4tigkeit wiederholt gegeben werden soll, und der Kampf gegen die eigene Abneigung ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Gebots (wer verschenkt schon gern sein Geld?). Die \u00dcberwindung dieses Kampfes offenbart die g\u00f6ttliche Kraft im Menschen, was als besonders verdienstvolle Tat gilt. Es kann sich dabei um ein materielles oder ein spirituelles Bed\u00fcrfnis handeln. In beiden F\u00e4llen sollten wir versuchen, den Bed\u00fcrftigen zu helfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei jeder Wohltat muss man sein Herz und seine Hand \u00f6ffnen und \u2013 Gott bewahre \u2013 jegliche Verh\u00e4rtung des Herzens und Verschlossenheit der Hand vermeiden. Der bedeutende Kommentator Raschi sagt, wir sollten die Wohltat sogar \u201chundertmal\u201d wiederholen. Das bedeutet, dass die Einhaltung dieses Gebots unermesslichen Reichtum f\u00fcr denjenigen bringt, der es befolgt. So wie man andere behandelt, so wird man selbst vom Himmel behandelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Zusammenhang zwischen Wohlt\u00e4tigkeit und Erl\u00f6sung besteht darin, dass sie Bed\u00fcrftigen hilft, aber auch den Geber reinigt und erhebt. Durch Wohlt\u00e4tigkeit ahmt man Gottes G\u00fcte und Barmherzigkeit nach und tr\u00e4gt so dazu bei, mehr g\u00f6ttliche Gnade in die Welt zu bringen. Die Anh\u00e4ufung solcher Akte der G\u00fcte beschleunigt das Kommen des Messias und die endg\u00fcltige Erl\u00f6sung. Dies wird besonders im kommenden Monat Elul betont, der zu Rosch Haschana f\u00fchrt. In diesem Monat ist vermehrtes Geben eine gute Vorbereitung auf das Gericht des neuen j\u00fcdischen Jahres, einem Feiertag, an dem die ganze Welt gerichtet wird. Diese Vorbereitung gilt auch f\u00fcr Noachiden.
