Maimonides' Mischna Tora (Gesetze der K\u00f6nige 8,10\u201311) besagt, dass die Tora und ihre Gebote den Juden und Konvertiten gegeben wurden. Andererseits schreibt sie vor, dass die gesamte Menschheit dem universellen Kodex, den Sieben Noachidischen Geboten, folgen soll, da dieser Moses auf dem Berg Sinai offenbart wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dies wirft eine Frage auf: Wenn diese sieben universellen Gesetze moralisch sind, warum gen\u00fcgt es dann nicht, wenn ein Nichtjude ihnen nach seinem Gewissen oder Verstand folgt? Warum muss ein Nichtjude sie ausdr\u00fccklich befolgen, nur weil Gott sie durch Mose am Berg Sinai geboten hat?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Antwort liegt in dem tiefgreifenden Wandel, der am Berg Sinai seinen Anfang nahm. Die Tora wurde dem j\u00fcdischen Volk gegeben, um die Kluft zwischen der spirituellen und der physischen Welt zu \u00fcberbr\u00fccken und alles Sein zu erheben. Diese gewaltige Aufgabe erfordert die Mitwirkung aller. Es geht nicht nur um gutes Benehmen, sondern darum, dass die gesamte Sch\u00f6pfung ihr g\u00f6ttliches Wesen widerspiegelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damit dieser universelle Kodex Gottes absolute Macht wahrhaft vermitteln kann, muss er mit der bewussten Absicht befolgt werden, Gottes Willen zu erf\u00fcllen. Ohne diese Absicht k\u00f6nnten gute Taten lediglich egoistisch motiviert sein und ihre wahre Kraft verlieren. Wenn sie jedoch im Bewusstsein der Verbindung zum g\u00f6ttlichen Plan ausgef\u00fchrt werden, erlangt selbst die kleinste gute Tat immense spirituelle Bedeutung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obwohl das j\u00fcdische Volk den direkten Auftrag der Tora erhalten hat, ist die Zusammenarbeit mit der gesamten Menschheit notwendig, um deren volle Wirkung zu entfalten. Daher haben alle V\u00f6lker einen aktiven Anteil an der Erf\u00fcllung des g\u00f6ttlichen Willens, n\u00e4mlich der Schaffung einer Wohnst\u00e4tte f\u00fcr Gott in dieser Welt. Die Zehn Gebote wurden in allen siebzig Sprachen gegeben, um zu zeigen, dass die Offenbarung der Tora am Berg Sinai universelle Bedeutung f\u00fcr alle Menschen hat. Die Annahme der Tora ebnet den Weg, die Kluft zwischen der Menschheit und der unendlichen Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Allm\u00e4chtigen zu \u00fcberbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
