Deshalb hat Levi kein Erbteil mit seinen Br\u00fcdern; Gott ist sein Erbe, wie Gott, dein Gott, es ihm verhei\u00dfen hat.\u201c Diese Verse lehren, dass der Stamm Levi von Gott f\u00fcr einen besonderen geistlichen Zweck auserw\u00e4hlt wurde: um heiligen Dienst zu verrichten, vor Gott zu stehen und in seinem Namen zu segnen. Im Gegenzug erhielten sie kein Land als Erbe, denn Gott selbst ist ihr \u201cErbteil und ihr Anteil\u201d.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maimonides f\u00fchrt diesen Gedanken in seinen Gesetzen des Schabbats und Jowel (Kapitel 13, Halacha 13) weiter aus: \u201cNicht nur der Stamm Levi, sondern jeder einzelne Mensch, dessen Geist ihn bewegt und dessen Verstand ihn dazu bringt, sich abzusondern, um vor Gott zu stehen, ihm zu dienen und ihn zu erkennen, und der aufrichtig wandelt, wie Gott ihn geschaffen hat, und das Joch der vielen weltlichen Berechnungen abwirft, nach denen die Menschen streben \u2013 siehe, dieser Mensch ist als heilig von allen geheiligt, und Gott wird sein Anteil und sein Erbe sein f\u00fcr immer und ewig\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maimonides legte das Schicksal der Leviten als spirituelles Vorbild dar, dem jeder Mensch folgen kann. Wer sich von materiellen Dingen abwendet, Gott dient und seine N\u00e4he sucht, wird \u2013 \u00e4hnlich dem Stamm Levi \u2013 zum \u201cAllerheiligsten\u201d. In diesem Fall wird Gott ihr Anteil und Erbe, und sie erhalten alles, was sie in dieser Welt brauchen, wie es den Leviten verhei\u00dfen wurde.
