Doch auf den ersten Blick scheint der Name unseres Abschnitts, Noah, seinem Wesen zu widersprechen. Der Abschnitt behandelt haupts\u00e4chlich verheerende Ereignisse \u2013 die Sintflut, die die Welt heimsuchte, und die S\u00fcnde und Strafe des Turmbaus zu Babel \u2013, w\u00e4hrend sein Name, Noah, Ruhe und Frieden bedeutet. Wie kann der Name Noah \u2013 Ruhe \u2013 einem Abschnitt gegeben werden, dessen gesamter Inhalt das Gegenteil von Ruhe ist?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Name Noah offenbart uns die tiefere Bedeutung dieser schweren Ereignisse. Obwohl die Sintflut selbst das genaue Gegenteil von Frieden und Ruhe war, wurde gerade durch sie wahre Ruhe erlangt. Die Sintflut reinigte die Erde und schuf eine Welt, die unendlich viel besser war als die vorherige. Als Noah die Arche verlie\u00df, sah er eine neue Welt \u2013 eine Welt, die spirituell erhaben war. So waren die Wasser der Sintflut letztlich wahrlich Wasser, die endlich Ruhe und Erneuerung brachten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Toraabschnitt Noah enth\u00e4lt viele Elemente, die in direktem Zusammenhang mit den S\u00f6hnen Noahs stehen. Die Tora beschreibt Noahs Verlassen der Arche und die Wiederherstellung des Bundes Gottes mit der gesamten Menschheit. Dieser Bund bildet den Grundstein f\u00fcr die Erf\u00fcllung der Sieben Noachidischen Gebote. Gott gebot Noah und seinen S\u00f6hnen, alle Lebewesen aus der Arche freizulassen, damit sie \u201cfruchtbar seien und sich mehren und die Erde f\u00fcllen\u201d (Genesis 8,17). Der Regenbogen, der nach der Sintflut erschien, symbolisiert den universellen Bund zwischen Gott und allem Leben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nachdem Noah die Arche verlassen hatte, errichtete er einen Altar und brachte Opfer dar. Den Nachkommen Noahs ist es erlaubt, aus Dankbarkeit gegen\u00fcber dem Sch\u00f6pfer Brandopfer von reinen Tieren darzubringen. Obwohl diese Praxis heutzutage aufgrund des erforderlichen Fachwissens nicht mehr empfohlen wird, verdeutlicht sie das Recht der Nachkommen Noahs, dem Sch\u00f6pfer auch durch Opfer zu dienen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noah erhielt ein zus\u00e4tzliches Gebot, das die sechs Gebote Adams erweiterte (Verbote von G\u00f6tzendienst, Gottesl\u00e4sterung, Mord, verbotenen sexuellen Beziehungen, Diebstahl und der Errichtung eines Rechtssystems). Das letzte Gebot an Noah war das Verbot, ein Glied von einem lebenden Tier zu essen. Mit diesem Verbot sind die Sieben Noachidischen Gebote vollst\u00e4ndig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Letztendlich brachten die Fluten der Welt Ruhe und Erneuerung. Das Leben in der Arche Noah dient als Mikrokosmos des messianischen Zeitalters. Im Inneren der Arche waren die gew\u00f6hnlichen Konflikte der Natur aufgehoben: Raubtier und Beute lebten nicht nur gewaltlos zusammen, sondern in vollkommener Harmonie und Unterwerfung unter das einzige g\u00f6ttliche Gebot. Es gab keinen Hass, keine Qual und keinen Kampf ums \u00dcberleben.
