Eines der \u00fcberraschendsten Gebote lautet: \u201cDu sollst in Rechtsangelegenheiten keinen Armen bevorzugen\u201d (Exodus 23,3). Auf den ersten Blick scheint dies der menschlichen Natur zu widersprechen. Weist uns die Tora, die Barmherzigkeit, G\u00fcte und Hilfe f\u00fcr die Armen predigt, hier etwa ausdr\u00fccklich dazu an, unser Mitgef\u00fchl zu unterdr\u00fccken?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Gebot der Dinim (Gesetze) ist eine positive, proaktive Verpflichtung f\u00fcr die Nachkommen Noahs. Die Tora warnt den Richter und die Gesellschaft als Ganzes vor der emotionalen Neigung, das Urteil zugunsten des Armen allein aufgrund seiner Armut zu lenken. Gerechtigkeit ist ein absoluter Wert, der nicht vom sozio\u00f6konomischen Status abh\u00e4ngt. Wie Maimonides ausf\u00fchrt (Gesetze des Sanhedrin, Kapitel 20, Gesetz 7), ist der Zweck eines Gerichts die Wahrung der Gerechtigkeit, nicht die Aus\u00fcbung von Wohlt\u00e4tigkeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Gebot der \u201cDinim\u201d ist nicht nur formaler Natur; es verpflichtet uns, unser Rechtssystem und unser gesellschaftliches Bewusstsein von Vorurteilen zu befreien. Gleichheit vor dem Gesetz ist die einzige Garantie daf\u00fcr, dass auch die Armen in Sicherheit leben k\u00f6nnen. In der heutigen Zeit hat diese Botschaft noch gr\u00f6\u00dferes Gewicht. Wir erleben ein Ph\u00e4nomen, bei dem Gruppen oder Einzelpersonen moralische Immunit\u00e4t vor dem Gesetz beanspruchen. Die Tora lehrt jedoch, dass niemand von der Einhaltung des Gesetzes befreit ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Verpflichtung \u201cBeg\u00fcnstige eines armen Mannes in seinem Rechtsstreit nicht\u201d verlangt von uns eine klare Haltung: Stelle dich nicht auf die Seite der Starken wegen ihrer Macht und nicht auf die Seite der Schwachen wegen ihrer Schw\u00e4che \u2013 stelle dich auf die Seite der g\u00f6ttlichen Gerechtigkeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haben wir dadurch das Mitgef\u00fchl aufgegeben? Gewiss nicht. Wenn eine Gesellschaft nach den Sieben Noachidischen Geboten g\u00f6ttliche Gerechtigkeit walten l\u00e4sst, werden die meisten Ungerechtigkeiten gegen\u00fcber den Schwachen automatisch verhindert. F\u00fcr die Kinder Noahs, denen der Auftrag erteilt wurde, ein Rechtssystem zu errichten, ist dies ein entscheidendes Fundament f\u00fcr die Verbesserung der Welt. Der Aufbau einer Gesellschaft, in der die Wahrheit unvoreingenommen das Leitmotiv ist, bereitet die Welt darauf vor, ein Gef\u00e4\u00df zu sein, indem sie den Willen Haschems tut.
