Chukkat significa regla o estatuto. En la Tor\u00e1, existen diferentes tipos de reglas, esencialmente tres. Hay reglas que una persona puede comprender por s\u00ed misma, incluso si la Tor\u00e1 no las menciona. Por ejemplo, &quot;No robar\u00e1s&quot;, &quot;No matar\u00e1s&quot; y &quot;Honra a tu padre y a tu madre&quot;. Estas reglas se llaman Mishpatim en hebreo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego est\u00e1n las reglas llamadas Edot, que son como testimonios de acontecimientos hist\u00f3ricos. Por ejemplo, el \u00c9xodo de Egipto se conmemora con la festividad de P\u00e9saj. Si la Tor\u00e1 no lo mencionara, quiz\u00e1 no lo celebrar\u00edamos de esta manera. Algunos podr\u00edan pensar que no es necesario seguir los mandamientos de Dios si son comprensibles racionalmente, como no robar. Podr\u00edan creer que su educaci\u00f3n y sentido com\u00fan son suficientes para guiarlos. Pero la verdad es que incluso los mandamientos racionales tienen una esencia inherentemente irracional. \u00bfA qu\u00e9 me refiero con esto? Cada mandamiento tiene dos partes: la comprensible y la pr\u00e1ctica, que prescribe una acci\u00f3n o comportamiento espec\u00edfico. Sin embargo, la esencia de cualquier mandamiento es la voluntad de Dios. El n\u00facleo de cada mandamiento es esencialmente el mismo para todos los dem\u00e1s, independientemente de la acci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica que requiera o proh\u00edba. Es la voluntad de Dios, y la realidad es que, como seres humanos limitados, por muy inteligentes que seamos, no podemos comprender plenamente lo que realmente implica la voluntad de Dios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La clave es que la esencia de la Tor\u00e1 y su conexi\u00f3n con Dios no es racional, sino irracional. Esto tiene implicaciones pr\u00e1cticas. No tiene sentido elegir mandamientos seg\u00fan preferencias personales: \u201cMe gusta este mandamiento, as\u00ed que lo seguir\u00e9, pero no me gusta ese otro, as\u00ed que no lo har\u00e9\u201d. Esto no es una conexi\u00f3n genuina con Dios, sino una conexi\u00f3n con tu propia interpretaci\u00f3n o tu propia versi\u00f3n inventada de Dios.
