<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta semana leemos el mandamiento que explica la unidad divina: \"Sabed hoy y tomadlo a pecho que el Se\u00f1or es Dios en los cielos arriba y en la tierra abajo; no hay otro\" (Deuteronomio 4:39). En las ense\u00f1anzas jas\u00eddicas, este vers\u00edculo se explica no como una mera negaci\u00f3n de la existencia de otro dios, que el Cielo no lo permita, sino como una aclaraci\u00f3n de que no hay existencia en absoluto aparte de Di-s. El Santo, bendito sea, es la \u00fanica realidad en el mundo, ya sea en los cielos, en la tierra o en las profundidades del universo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La existencia independiente del mundo y sus criaturas es una ilusi\u00f3n, derivada de nuestra incapacidad para percibir la fuerza divina que sustenta toda la realidad. Si pudi\u00e9ramos ver la verdad, reconocer\u00edamos que todo es Di-s y que Di-s es todo. La creaci\u00f3n no tiene existencia independiente ya que fue creada ex nihilo (algo de la nada); por lo tanto, su existencia en cada momento depende de la fuerza divina que la sostiene y la llena. Por lo tanto, la verdad es que \"no hay nada aparte de \u00c9l\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Podr\u00eda pensarse que s\u00f3lo los \"cielos\", las creaciones espirituales superiores, pueden contener la fuerza divina. Por lo tanto, la Tor\u00e1 a\u00f1ade: \"y en la tierra de abajo\", que incluso las creaciones f\u00edsicas inferiores tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n llenas del poder del Creador.
