El primer mandamiento es: \u201cAbrir\u00e1s tu mano\u201d, y el segundo: \u201cLe dar\u00e1s\u201d. En ambos mandamientos, la Tor\u00e1 usa una doble expresi\u00f3n: \u201cabre, abrir\u00e1s\u201d y \u201cda, dar\u00e1s\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta doble expresi\u00f3n significa que la obligaci\u00f3n de dar caridad no se limita a una sola vez, sino que se requiere dar repetidamente. La Tor\u00e1 enfatiza que una persona debe proveer a los necesitados con lo que necesitan. Este doble lenguaje enfatiza que la caridad debe darse repetidamente, y la lucha contra la inclinaci\u00f3n a no dar es una parte crucial del mandamiento (\u00bfa alguien le gusta dar su dinero?). Superar esta lucha revela la fuerza divina dentro de la persona, lo cual se considera un acto especialmente meritorio. Esta puede ser una necesidad material o espiritual. El destacado comentarista Rashi dice que debemos repetir el acto de caridad &quot;incluso cien veces&quot;. Esto significa que evitar cualquier limitaci\u00f3n en este mandamiento genera una abundancia ilimitada para quien lo realiza.
