Sin embargo, no nos dice qu\u00e9 vio exactamente. El Midrash ense\u00f1a que lo que el mar &quot;vio&quot; fue el ata\u00fad que conten\u00eda el cuerpo del justo Yosef, que el pueblo jud\u00edo trajo consigo de Egipto. El Midrash explica que, por m\u00e9rito de la huida de Yosef de la esposa de Potifar, el mar a su vez &quot;huy\u00f3&quot; y se dividi\u00f3. Sin embargo, el Talmud...<sup>1<\/sup>\u00a0Citado por Rashi, al analizar la primera parte del mismo vers\u00edculo en los Salmos, dice que la santificaci\u00f3n de Yehuda se refiere a cuando Najson, hijo de Aminadav de Yehuda, fue la primera persona en adentrarse en el mar embravecido hasta que el agua le lleg\u00f3 a la nariz y luego se dividi\u00f3, aparentemente por su m\u00e9rito. El problema obvio aqu\u00ed es que, seg\u00fan las ense\u00f1anzas de los Sabios, parece que el mismo vers\u00edculo alude a razones completamente distintas para la divisi\u00f3n del mar. \u00bfC\u00f3mo entender esto? Parece que ambas acciones fueron necesarias para que el mar se dividiera, pero \u00bfpor qu\u00e9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El primer paso para abordar esta cuesti\u00f3n es explicar por qu\u00e9 estas dos acciones en particular ameritaron el milagro de la divisi\u00f3n del mar. Con respecto a Yosef, una posible explicaci\u00f3n es que, al enfrentarse a la prueba con la esposa de Potifar, Yosef se elev\u00f3 por encima de su naturaleza al resistir sus deseos humanos naturales de forma sobrenatural y sali\u00f3 corriendo de la habitaci\u00f3n. En este m\u00e9rito, el mar se rebel\u00f3 contra su naturaleza y huy\u00f3 de s\u00ed mismo, por as\u00ed decirlo, al dividirse. Un enfoque similar puede aplicarse a Najs\u00f3n, hijo de Aminadab: \u00e9l se opuso a su forma natural de actuar al adentrarse en un mar embravecido hasta el punto en que ya no pudo respirar. As\u00ed pues, al superar su comportamiento natural, amerit\u00f3 que el mar actuara de forma antinatural y se dividiera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, persiste la pregunta de por qu\u00e9 ambas acciones parecen haber sido necesarias. Para responder a esta pregunta, resulta instructivo profundizar un poco m\u00e1s en los roles singulares de Yosef y Yehuda, lo que nos permitir\u00e1 comprender la importancia de cada una de sus acciones que merecieron la divisi\u00f3n del Mar. El rey David, en los Salmos, enumera dos tipos de servicio divino: \u201cSur meirah veaseh tov\u201d.\u201d<sup>&nbsp;2<\/sup>; \u201cDeja el mal y haz el bien\u201d. A nivel individual, \u2018dejar el mal\u2019 se refiere a evitar el pecado y superar las propias caracter\u00edsticas negativas, mientras que a nivel m\u00e1s p\u00fablico se refiere a combatir el mal en el mundo. \u2018Hacer el bien\u2019 se refiere a realizar acciones positivas y desarrollar las propias caracter\u00edsticas positivas, mientras que a nivel m\u00e1s p\u00fablico se refiere a incrementar el servicio divino en el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Shem Mishmuel<sup>3<\/sup>&nbsp;Explica que Yosef personific\u00f3 la idea de &quot;abandonar el mal&quot;. Se protegi\u00f3 de la inmoralidad, neg\u00e1ndose siquiera a mirar a las mujeres egipcias que acud\u00edan a \u00e9l, y lo m\u00e1s significativo, cuando super\u00f3 la prueba de la esposa de Potifar. Tambi\u00e9n actu\u00f3 para eliminar el mal de los dem\u00e1s, obligando a los egipcios a quitarse el prepucio mediante la circuncisi\u00f3n, eliminando as\u00ed parte de la inclinaci\u00f3n a la inmoralidad. Yehuda, por otro lado, personifica la idea de &quot;hacer el bien&quot;. Realiz\u00f3 acciones positivas, como cuando asumi\u00f3 la responsabilidad de su acci\u00f3n con Tamar, y fue enviado a Egipto para establecer centros de estudio que allanaran el camino espiritual de la naci\u00f3n jud\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De manera similar, sabemos que dos Mes\u00edas redimir\u00e1n a la naci\u00f3n jud\u00eda, uno de Yosef y otro de Yehuda. Ser\u00e1n conocidos como Mes\u00edas hijo de Yosef y Mes\u00edas hijo de David. David mismo era descendiente de Yehuda. El Shem Mishmuel<sup>4<\/sup>&nbsp;Escribe que el Mes\u00edas de Yosef lograr\u00e1 la liberaci\u00f3n del mal al derrotar a los enemigos de la naci\u00f3n. De esta manera, allanar\u00e1 el camino para que el Mes\u00edas de David complete la obra del bien al congregar a los exiliados y reconstruir el Templo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bas\u00e1ndose en esta interpretaci\u00f3n, parece que dos aspectos de la ruptura de la naturaleza fueron necesarios para invocar el m\u00e9rito suficiente para que el mar actuara contra su naturaleza: la ruptura de la naturaleza en el \u00e1mbito de abandonar el mal y la ruptura de la naturaleza en el \u00e1mbito de hacer el bien: Yosef rompi\u00f3 la naturaleza al abandonar el mal al vencer sus deseos naturales y huir de la esposa de Potifar.
