Esta no es una cuesti\u00f3n moderna. Grandes pensadores jud\u00edos como el Rambam (Maim\u00f3nides) y el Ramb\u00e1n (Najm\u00e1nides) ya la abordaron hace siglos (v\u00e9ase el comentario del Ramb\u00e1n a Bereshit 34:13). Pero quiz\u00e1s de forma m\u00e1s reciente y accesible, el Rebe de Lubavitch ofreci\u00f3 perspectivas que siguen siendo profundamente relevantes hoy en d\u00eda, no solo para los jud\u00edos, sino tambi\u00e9n para los no jud\u00edos que buscan comprender su prop\u00f3sito en la creaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La justicia y el papel del no jud\u00edo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Tor\u00e1 no solo se dirige al pueblo jud\u00edo, sino que tambi\u00e9n reconoce las responsabilidades morales de los no jud\u00edos, los llamados Bnei Noaj (Hijos de No\u00e9). Seg\u00fan el Ramban (comentario a <em>Bereshit<\/em> 6:13), estas responsabilidades se extienden m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las Siete Leyes No\u00e1jidas cl\u00e1sicas para incluir imperativos \u00e9ticos racionales necesarios para una sociedad justa y moral, como honrar a los padres y dar caridad. Esto refleja una comprensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia de las obligaciones de los no jud\u00edos. En t\u00e9rminos m\u00e1s generales, esto aborda un debate fundamental entre el Rambam y el Ramb\u00e1n sobre el alcance del mandamiento no\u00e1jida de <em>Dinim<\/em> (leyes): mientras que el Rambam lo limita a establecer tribunales para hacer cumplir las otras seis leyes, el Ramban lo interpreta de manera m\u00e1s expansiva para incluir un sistema completo de legislaci\u00f3n civil y \u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A primera vista, el Rambam parece m\u00e1s restrictivo. Sin embargo, como explica el Rebe de Lubavitch, incluso el Rambam reconoce que no actuar con compasi\u00f3n, especialmente cuando uno tambi\u00e9n impide que otros hagan el bien, representa un grave colapso moral. La destrucci\u00f3n de Sodoma y Gomorra sirve como la advertencia m\u00e1s escalofriante de la Tor\u00e1: cuando una sociedad se vuelve tan egoc\u00e9ntrica que no solo niega la bondad, sino <strong>Castiga a quienes lo demuestran, incluso hasta el punto de matar a alguien por dar caridad.<\/strong> \u2014Su propio derecho a existir se derrumba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 estamos aqu\u00ed?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto nos lleva a una pregunta central: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 cre\u00f3 Dios a la humanidad? El Rebe de Lubavitch, bas\u00e1ndose en el comentario de Rashi a <em>Bereshit<\/em> 1:1 ense\u00f1a que el mundo fue creado para la Tor\u00e1 y sus mandamientos, es decir, para que el pueblo jud\u00edo cumpliera su misi\u00f3n divina. Sin embargo, esto no significa que los no jud\u00edos carezcan de prop\u00f3sito en el plan divino. Al contrario, desempe\u00f1an un papel vital en hacer del mundo un lugar habitable, \u00e9tico y justo, un concepto conocido como <em>Yeshuv ha&#039;olam<\/em> (v\u00e9ase Isa\u00edas 45:18). Si bien las misiones jud\u00edas y no jud\u00edas son distintas, ambas son esenciales para el cumplimiento de la visi\u00f3n de Dios para la creaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tzedak\u00e1 es clave para esta misi\u00f3n. No porque se deba ordenar a la gente que haga el bien, sino porque es racional, humano y moralmente obvio. Si alguien necesita ayuda y puedes ayudar, \u00bfc\u00f3mo no? Esta l\u00f3gica se refleja en... <em>Sefer HaJinuj<\/em> Razonamiento de la mitzv\u00e1 de honrar a los padres (Mitzv\u00e1 33): ya que tus padres te dieron tanto, es justo y correcto devolver ese amor y cuidado con respeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La profundidad de la historia de Siquem<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un ejemplo impactante de complejidad moral en la Tor\u00e1 es la historia de Siquem, donde Shim\u00f3n y Lev\u00ed se vengan tras la violaci\u00f3n de su hermana Dina. El Rebe se\u00f1ala que deber\u00edan haber consultado a su padre Jacob antes de actuar, no solo por respeto, sino porque incluso la indignaci\u00f3n moral debe canalizarse con sabidur\u00eda y responsabilidad. Sin embargo, su dolor es reconocido. Cuando Jacob los reprende, responden con una emoci\u00f3n intensa: <em>\u201c\u00bfNuestra hermana deber\u00eda ser tratada como una prostituta?\u201d<\/em> Su br\u00fajula moral no estaba rota: ard\u00eda con demasiada fuerza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa esto para nosotros hoy?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El mensaje de la Tor\u00e1 es profundo y universal: ser humano implica ser moralmente responsable. Seas jud\u00edo o no, tu vida tiene un prop\u00f3sito. Para los no jud\u00edos, eso significa vivir \u00e9ticamente, honrar a los padres, ayudar a los necesitados y defender la justicia. Esto no es un m\u00e9rito extra; es la base de lo que significa existir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incluso la historia de la Torre de Babel (G\u00e9nesis 11) refleja esta idea. Dios no quer\u00eda que todas las personas estuvieran en un mismo lugar, pensando y hablando igual (v\u00e9ase el comentario de Ibn Ezra y Ramb\u00e1n a Bereshit 11:3). Quer\u00eda diversidad, extendida por todo el mundo, donde cada comunidad contribuyera a la misi\u00f3n global de hacer del mundo un hogar para la Divinidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n: Una misi\u00f3n compartida<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Tor\u00e1 no es un libro exclusivo. Es una gu\u00eda divina para la humanidad. Si bien la ley jud\u00eda contiene mandamientos m\u00e1s detallados para los jud\u00edos, los no jud\u00edos tienen un papel igualmente importante en el plan de Dios: preparar el mundo para reflejar la bondad divina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ya sea que vivas en Tel Aviv, Toronto, Buenos Aires o Bangkok, puedes cumplir esta misi\u00f3n. Siendo honesto. Ayudando a los dem\u00e1s. Respetando a tus padres. Neg\u00e1ndote a participar en la injusticia.
