What Bnei Noach Can Learn<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Torah teaches us not only about the Jewish people but also about the universal role that Israel and the nations of the world play in G-d\u2019s plan. For Bnei Noach\u2014the non-Jewish nations who observe the Seven Noahide Laws\u2014it is important to understand their relationship with Israel and how they can contribute to the Messianic future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel: Teacher and Keeper of the Torah<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En el Libro de Numbers 2:22<\/a>, G-d instructs Moses to arrange the twelve tribes of Israel around the Tabernacle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This arrangement was symbolic: Israel stands around the Torah, the spiritual core of their nation. By studying the Torah and fulfilling its commandments, Israel \u201cactivates\u201d this Divine power. Israel is the vessel through which G-d\u2019s blessings flow into the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what does this mean for the nations?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Responsibility of Bnei Noach: Learning the Noahide Laws<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Maimonides Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings and Wars Chapter 8, Halacha 10. teaches us that Moses commanded that all the peoples of the world should accept the Noahide commandments\u2014universal laws that form the foundation for ethical and moral living. By learning and observing these laws, Bnei Noach helps prepare the world for ultimate redemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jewish people have an active role in teaching and guiding the nations in this process. This is not secondary but an essential part of preparing for the coming of the Messiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Future World: Perfect Harmony Together<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En su Mishn\u00e9 Tor\u00e1<\/em> (Hilchot Melachim 12:1), Maimonides describes a time in the Messianic era when the entire world will be corrected to serve G-d together. This includes both Israel and the nations, living in peace and harmony\u2014no theft, no destruction, but united in the knowledge and worship of the One G-d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This vision is grounded in the prophecy of Isa\u00edas 11:9<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9<\/strong> They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the L-RD, as the waters cover the sea.<\/td>\u05d8<\/strong>  \u05dc\u05b9\u05d0-\u05d9\u05b8\u05e8\u05b5\u05e2\u05d5\u05bc \u05d5\u05b0\u05dc\u05b9\u05d0-\u05d9\u05b7\u05e9\u05b0\u05c1\u05d7\u05b4\u05d9\u05ea\u05d5\u05bc, \u05d1\u05b0\u05bc\u05db\u05b8\u05dc-\u05d4\u05b7\u05e8 \u05e7\u05b8\u05d3\u05b0\u05e9\u05b4\u05c1\u05d9:  \u05db\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9-\u05de\u05b8\u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b8\u05e8\u05b6\u05e5, \u05d3\u05b5\u05bc\u05e2\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea-\u05d3’, \u05db\u05b7\u05bc\u05de\u05b7\u05bc\u05d9\u05b4\u05dd, \u05dc\u05b7\u05d9\u05b8\u05bc\u05dd \u05de\u05b0\u05db\u05b7\u05e1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05dd<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Maimonides quotes this verse directly as the foundation for his description of the future redemption. According to this vision, the light of the Torah, carried by Israel, will radiate outward, illuminating and uplifting the nations. The nations of the world will not be passive observers, but active participants in the divine mission of perfecting creation, fulfilling the words of the prophet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel\u2019s Light Illuminates the Nations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi (the Alter Rebbe) explains in Tania<\/em>, the additional light revealed to Israel in the future will also shine upon the nations, removing their spiritual darkness. Many prophecies speak of the nations walking in Israel\u2019s light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that Israel\u2019s spiritual growth will have a universal impact, inviting all peoples to share in this new reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
