Las velas de la Menor\u00e1 simbolizan las almas de Israel. El sacerdote que encend\u00eda las velas en el Templo cumpl\u00eda un mandamiento que le incumb\u00eda espec\u00edficamente, pero el significado espiritual m\u00e1s profundo de este mandamiento es despertar y encender el potencial inherente a todas las almas para que puedan cumplir su misi\u00f3n interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El rey Salom\u00f3n, en el Libro de Proverbios, afirma: \u201cLa vela de Dios es el alma del hombre\u201d. El rabino Schneur Zalman de Liadi, fundador del jasidismo Jabad, profundiza en esta met\u00e1fora. Descubri\u00f3 que la Menor\u00e1 f\u00edsica, con sus siete brazos, representa el alma humana. La llama de las luces de la Menor\u00e1 se eleva, anhelando fundirse con su fuente. Esta tensi\u00f3n inherente entre el anhelo espiritual y el compromiso terrenal existe en cada &quot;vela de Dios&quot;: el alma humana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si bien el mandamiento de encender la Menor\u00e1 es espec\u00edfico para el pueblo jud\u00edo, tambi\u00e9n tiene un significado espiritual para los no\u00e1jidas. As\u00ed como la Menor\u00e1 del Templo ten\u00eda siete brazos, existen los Siete Mandamientos No\u00e1jidas. El n\u00famero siete representa el fluir de la santidad y la revelaci\u00f3n de la voluntad de Dios al mundo. El paralelismo entre los Siete Mandamientos No\u00e1jidas y los siete brazos de la Menor\u00e1, cuyo prop\u00f3sito era despertar espiritualmente a las almas, es profundamente significativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cumplimiento de los Siete Mandamientos No\u00e1jidas depende de un despertar espiritual en todas las naciones. De hecho, existe un resurgimiento significativo en la observancia de estos Siete Mandamientos a nivel mundial.
