Sin embargo, vemos que cuando el pueblo jud\u00edo le pidi\u00f3 un rey al profeta Samuel, este se enoj\u00f3. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shofetim: El mandamiento de un rey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La lectura de esta semana se llama <em>Shofetim<\/em>, que significa \u201cjueces\u201d. Entre todos los mandamientos que aparecen en este <em>parash\u00e1<\/em>, Existe un mandamiento espec\u00edfico sobre un rey. La Tor\u00e1 dice en hebreo: <em>Deber\u00edas ponerte encima de un rey.<\/em> La Tor\u00e1 explica entonces lo que debe hacer un rey, qu\u00e9 clase de persona debe ser y qu\u00e9 tipo de vida debe llevar: no demasiados caballos, no demasiadas esposas, etc\u00e9tera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed que, se trata de un rey. La Tor\u00e1 ordena tener un rey. Pero cuando el pueblo jud\u00edo entr\u00f3 en la tierra de Israel, no ten\u00eda rey, solo jueces. Existe todo un libro, el de los Jueces, lleno de historias sobre estos l\u00edderes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El \u00faltimo juez, por as\u00ed decirlo, fue Shmuel. El pueblo acudi\u00f3 a \u00e9l y le pidi\u00f3 un rey. \u201cQueremos un rey como todos los dem\u00e1s\u201d, dijeron. Shmuel se enfureci\u00f3. No le gust\u00f3 nada y pas\u00f3 toda la noche orando a Dios. <em>\u00bfQu\u00e9 est\u00e1 haciendo esta gente? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 necesitan un rey?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dios b\u00e1sicamente le dijo: <em>No te preocupes. No te est\u00e1n rechazando a ti. Me est\u00e1n rechazando a M\u00ed. As\u00ed que sup\u00e9ralo. Ponles un rey.<\/em> Dios le revel\u00f3 a Shmuel \u2014quien no solo era juez sino tambi\u00e9n profeta\u2014 qui\u00e9n ser\u00eda rey. Su nombre era Sa\u00fal, el primer rey. Luego le siguieron otros reyes. De esto tambi\u00e9n aprendemos que un profeta debe designar a un rey. Una vez designado, el reinado se transmite de padre a hijo, a menos que se interrumpa, como en el caso de Sa\u00fal, tras lo cual David se convirti\u00f3 en rey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero aqu\u00ed hay una pregunta. Si realmente es un mandamiento en nuestra lectura de la Tor\u00e1, <em>Shofetim<\/em>, para tener un rey, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 se enoj\u00f3 tanto Shmuel cuando el pueblo pidi\u00f3 uno? \u00bfY por qu\u00e9 dijo Dios, <em>Me est\u00e1n rechazando<\/em>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una explicaci\u00f3n es que un rey tiene dos aspectos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Existe la figura del rey como gobernante: tiene poder, conoce las t\u00e1cticas, sabe c\u00f3mo gobernar un pa\u00eds. Pero el pueblo jud\u00edo realmente no necesitaba eso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existe otro aspecto del rey: la imagen de Dios en el mundo. Un rey as\u00ed conoce la Tor\u00e1, vive en un plano espiritual elevado y su alma est\u00e1 unida al alma del pueblo. Tal como la Tor\u00e1 afirma en numerosos pasajes, el l\u00edder del pueblo jud\u00edo es como el pueblo jud\u00edo y es su cabeza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De hecho, la palabra hebrea <em>Rebe<\/em> Se escribe con tres letras: <em>Rosh Bnei Israel<\/em>\u2014la cabeza del pueblo jud\u00edo. Eso es lo que es un verdadero l\u00edder, as\u00ed como la cabeza cuida de todo el cuerpo y de cada c\u00e9lula. Lo mismo se aplica a un <em>Rebe<\/em>. Y esto no solo se aplica a los jud\u00edos; tambi\u00e9n se aplica a los no jud\u00edos. Nuestro Rebe tambi\u00e9n se preocupaba por los no jud\u00edos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed pues, hay dos aspectos: uno es militar, t\u00e9cnico, pol\u00edtico; el otro es espiritual: traer la divinidad al mundo, ser una imagen de la divinidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando el pueblo jud\u00edo le pidi\u00f3 a Shmuel un rey, dijeron:, <em>Queremos un rey como todos los dem\u00e1s.<\/em> Eso fue lo que lo enfureci\u00f3 tanto. \u00bfPara qu\u00e9 pedir un rey as\u00ed, cuando se pod\u00eda tener uno mucho mejor? Un rey que trajera a Dios al mundo. Otros reyes, de otras naciones, no hacen esto. Viven para sus pasiones y su propia estupidez. Como Egl\u00f3n, rey de Moab, que era muy gordo porque solo com\u00eda y com\u00eda, entreg\u00e1ndose a placeres mundanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por eso Shmuel estaba molesto, y por eso Dios dijo: <em>No te rechazan a ti. Me rechazan a m\u00ed. No quieren que yo descienda al mundo.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aplicando la historia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo podemos aplicar esto a nuestras propias vidas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay dos maneras en las que podemos poner a Dios sobre nosotros como Rey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Una forma es verlo como un gobernante: haz lo que \u00c9l dice porque de lo contrario te castigar\u00e1.
