Yet, the Midrash explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cHad it not been for the frog, how would G-d have punished the Egyptians?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 The frog was not the first plague; blood, hail, and the death of the firstborn were far more severe.<br>\ud83d\udd39 Still, the frog had a unique role: it shattered Pharaoh\u2019s denial of G-d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El prop\u00f3sito de las plagas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The plagues were more than punishment; they were a way to reveal Divine presence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\u201cAnd the Egyptians shall know that I am the L-rd.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each plague addressed a different aspect of Egypt\u2019s denial of G-d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Because Pharaoh\u2019s denial was unique, it required a unique plague.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Three Types of Denial<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rebbe identifies three ways nations deny G-d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cG-d of G-ds\u201d \u2013 acknowledges G-d as supreme, but not as the source of everything.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI made myself\u201d \u2013 sees oneself as completely independent, like Pharaoh.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete denial \u2013 denies G-d\u2019s existence entirely, like Sennacherib.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, Pharaoh\u2019s stance was the most dangerous. He dismissed G-d as unnecessary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI exist on my own; I made myself.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Three Types of Creatures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The plagues also reflect these approaches in creation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><td>Creature<\/td><td>Apparent Purpose<\/td><td>True Function<\/td><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Insects (flies, mosquitoes)<\/td><td>Seem useless<\/td><td>Serve a hidden purpose<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Harmful creatures (snakes, scorpions)<\/td><td>Seem purely negative<\/td><td>Execute G-d\u2019s mission<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Frog<\/td><td>Appears completely useless and harmless<\/td><td>Symbolizes Pharaoh and Divine revelation<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Frog is Pharaoh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The frog represents Pharaoh himself: seemingly useless, without visible purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yet, the frog became a messenger of G-d, fully carrying out the Divine mission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Through the frog, Pharaoh had to recognize that his existence does not come from himself, but from G-d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The plague of frogs demonstrates that nothing in creation is meaningless:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Even that which appears pointless serves a Divine purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharaoh thought G-d was redundant, but the frog revealed that everything derives from G-d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For us: even moments or aspects of life that seem \u201cpointless\u201d can reveal G-d\u2019s presence in the greatest way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tip: To experience the lesson in full depth, watch Rabbi Serber\u2019s video on YouTube.-d bless us all with a good and sweet year: with revealed good, abundant health, livelihood, joy, and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Con agradecimiento a <strong>Rabino Tuvia Serber para<\/strong> El shiur y la retroalimentaci\u00f3n.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Copyright, todos los derechos reservados.
