Rosh Hashan\u00e1 no conmemora un evento nacional o hist\u00f3rico espec\u00edfico de una naci\u00f3n. Es el d\u00eda en que todos los habitantes de la Tierra son juzgados ante el Creador del universo. Es una antigua costumbre jud\u00eda comer dulces \u2014y mojar una manzana en miel\u2014 como se\u00f1al de un a\u00f1o pr\u00f3spero y dulce (los no\u00e1jidas tambi\u00e9n pueden seguir esta costumbre, aunque no es obligatoria). \u00bfC\u00f3mo podemos comer dulces y regocijarnos en esta festividad sabiendo que todos los habitantes del mundo son juzgados en este d\u00eda?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosh Hashan\u00e1 significa literalmente &quot;Cabeza del A\u00f1o&quot;, no &quot;A\u00f1o Nuevo&quot;. As\u00ed como la cabeza y el cerebro controlan y dirigen cada \u00f3rgano del cuerpo, nuestra consciencia, oraciones, determinaci\u00f3n y acciones en este d\u00eda ejercen una influencia decisiva en todos los d\u00edas del a\u00f1o venidero. La rutina diaria y las dificultades a veces nos hacen olvidar el prop\u00f3sito principal de nuestra existencia. En Rosh Hashan\u00e1, nuestro enfoque debe centrarse principalmente en la firme decisi\u00f3n de servir a Dios con mayor profundidad y alegr\u00eda durante el a\u00f1o que comienza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La coronaci\u00f3n del rey es el punto central de Rosh Hashan\u00e1. Por lo tanto, como en la coronaci\u00f3n de un rey de carne y hueso, la alegr\u00eda se expresa de diversas maneras, incluyendo el consumo de dulces. Fortalece la esperanza de que nuestro juicio sea misericordioso. Confiamos en que Hashem nos dar\u00e1 gran abundancia en el nuevo a\u00f1o para que podamos cumplir con nuestro papel en el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Tanya (Igeret HaKodesh, cap\u00edtulo 14) explica que en Rosh Hashan\u00e1, el mundo entero experimenta una profunda renovaci\u00f3n. En la v\u00edspera de Rosh Hashan\u00e1, la energ\u00eda y vitalidad divinas que sustentan la creaci\u00f3n regresan a su origen. La existencia continua del universo depende de la voluntad renovada de Dios de preservar la existencia del mundo en cada instante. Esta voluntad divina se reaviva cuando aceptamos su soberan\u00eda en Rosh Hashan\u00e1. Reconocer la soberan\u00eda de Dios es una expresi\u00f3n de la primera de las Siete Leyes No\u00e1jidas: la prohibici\u00f3n de la idolatr\u00eda y la creencia en la unidad absoluta del Creador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosh Hashan\u00e1 es una festividad jud\u00eda, pero tiene un significado profundo para todo ser humano. En este sentido, Rosh Hashan\u00e1 nos permite reconocer nuestro verdadero papel, positivo y sublime: coronar a Dios como Rey. Es un tiempo de oraci\u00f3n sincera en el que pedimos a Dios Todopoderoso que conceda a todas sus criaturas un a\u00f1o de paz, prosperidad, salud y bendiciones. Pero, adem\u00e1s de reverencia y respeto, es un d\u00eda de gran alegr\u00eda en el que celebramos nuestra fe en el Creador y el privilegio de servirle.
