Este ser\u00eda un pacto entre Dios y toda criatura viviente, donde Dios est\u00e1 representado por la palabra E-lokim, que indica el atributo divino de \u05d2\u05d1\u05d5\u05e8\u05d4 (gevur\u00e1, juicio severo). Dios eligi\u00f3 la \u05e7\u05e9\u05ea (keset, arco\u00edris) como se\u00f1al de este pacto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-9c02n\">En el vers\u00edculo 12, la palabra &quot;generaciones&quot; se escribe de forma abreviada, \u05d3\u05e8\u05ea en lugar de \u05d3\u05d5\u05e8\u05d5\u05ea, sin las vocales vav-jolem. Cuando las palabras b\u00edblicas se escriben de esta manera, se les llama \u05d7\u05e1\u05e8, carente. Rashi (loc. cit.) cita el Midrash Rab\u00e1, donde los Sabios afirman que la palabra se escribe \u05d7\u05e1\u05e8 en este caso para indicar que habr\u00eda generaciones que no necesitar\u00edan el arco\u00edris, debido a la presencia de tzadikim, personas completamente justas. El Shabat tambi\u00e9n se menciona como \u201cuna se\u00f1al eterna entre m\u00ed y los hijos de Israel\u201d (\u00c9xodo 31:17). Por lo tanto, dado que el Shabat en s\u00ed mismo es una se\u00f1al, no se requiere ninguna se\u00f1al adicional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-a8naj\">De manera similar, la presencia de personas justas en una generaci\u00f3n basta para mitigar el atributo divino del juicio y transformarlo en compasi\u00f3n divina.
