בס "ד
A very long time ago, there was nothing.
No houses.
No trees.
No people.
No earth.
Then G-d said,
“Let there be a world.”
And G-d made the sky.
He made the earth.
He made the seas.
He made the mountains.
He made the animals.
And He made people.
Everything in the world belongs to G-d.
That is why the Torah begins by telling us about Creation.
Rashi teaches us something very important.
Il dit :
“The whole earth belongs to G-d.”
G-d can give land to whoever He chooses.
He gave the Land of Israel to the Jewish people.
This teaches us something very important.
G-d is not only the G-d of Heaven.
He is also the G-d of the earth.
He is everywhere.
He takes care of the world.
And He takes care of every person.
A Simple Example
Imagine that your father has a big house.
He gives you your own room.
Il dit :
“This is your room.
Take good care of it.”
You say:
“Thank you, Daddy!”
You do not throw rubbish on the floor.
You clean up your toys.
You help your brother or sister.
You make your room a nice place.
The world is like that too.
Dieu a créé le monde entier.
He gives each person a place.
Maybe it is your home.
Maybe it is your school.
Maybe it is your work.
Wherever you are, you can do something good.
A Noahide tries to do what G-d wants.
He follows the Seven Commandments.
He helps others.
He tells the truth.
He does good things.
He makes the world a little better.
In this way, he makes his little part of the world into a place where G-d can be felt.
A Lesson Is:
Dieu a créé le monde entier.
Everything belongs to Him.
He gives each person a place and a job.
So take good care of your part of the world and make it a place for G-d.
