Des voleurs vinrent le d\u00e9pouiller de sa fortune et de ses biens, et il perdit une grande partie de ses possessions. Mais il parvint \u00e0 rassembler ce qui lui restait et \u00e0 se remettre sur pied. Il racheta des marchandises et redevint commer\u00e7ant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Puis d&#039;autres voleurs sont venus et l&#039;ont d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 du peu qui restait de sa fortune. Malgr\u00e9 tout, il a de nouveau\u2026 <a><\/a>Il rassembla les maigres restes de ses bijoux et de ceux de sa femme, et put ainsi se remettre sur pied. Il ouvrit un magasin pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De nouveau, des voleurs vinrent le d\u00e9pouiller de tout ce qui lui restait, et il se retrouva si pauvre que sa maison fut enti\u00e8rement vide. Il alla rassembler une mis\u00e9rable somme, acheta quelques bricoles et parcourut les villages comme ces pauvres colporteurs qui troquent leurs ballots de marchandises, aiguilles, pipes et autres futilit\u00e9s. Il allait de village en village, \u00e9changeant des aiguilles contre des poulets et des \u0153ufs avec les pa\u00efens, et c&#039;est ainsi qu&#039;il gagnait le pain de sa famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un jour, alors qu&#039;il revenait des villages, portant son petit stock et quelques provisions, il fut attaqu\u00e9 par un bandit. Le bandit, \u00e0 cheval, portait deux \u00e9normes ballots. Il voulait le d\u00e9pouiller et l&#039;homme se mit \u00e0 pleurer et \u00e0 supplier le bandit. Mais celui-ci resta insensible et le d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 du peu qu&#039;il poss\u00e9dait. L&#039;homme se retrouva sans le moindre sou et pleura am\u00e8rement. Comme si ses malheurs pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents ne lui avaient pas suffi, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 de sa grande richesse ! Maintenant, on lui avait arrach\u00e9 m\u00eame le peu de moyens de subsistance qui lui restait !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre-temps, il remarqua que le bandit \u00e9tait tomb\u00e9 de cheval. Il tentait de se relever, mais l&#039;animal, \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, lui pi\u00e9tinait la t\u00eate. Le bandit s&#039;\u00e9croula et mourut. L&#039;homme s&#039;approcha et vit le voleur gisant au sol, mort. Il ouvrit les paquets du bandit et y trouva toute la marchandise, les richesses et les biens que ce dernier lui avait d\u00e9rob\u00e9s. Il rentra chez lui, paisible, sa fortune lui ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 restitu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il ne faut jamais d\u00e9sesp\u00e9rer. On peut \u00eatre d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 et pill\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises, mais il ne faut jamais d\u00e9sesp\u00e9rer de la mis\u00e9ricorde et de la bont\u00e9 de Dieu.
