Il annon\u00e7a que quiconque avait besoin d&#039;emprunter de l&#039;argent pouvait venir le voir et qu&#039;il lui accorderait un pr\u00eat. Inutile de dire que de nombreuses personnes se sont empress\u00e9es de profiter de son offre et sont venues emprunter de l&#039;argent. L&#039;homme riche tenait un registre de tous les pr\u00eats qu&#039;il avait accord\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un jour, en consultant son carnet, il s&#039;aper\u00e7ut qu&#039;il avait accord\u00e9 des pr\u00eats d&#039;une valeur consid\u00e9rable, et pourtant personne n&#039;avait daign\u00e9 rembourser sa dette. Naturellement, il \u00e9tait furieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parmi ceux qui avaient contract\u00e9 un pr\u00eat se trouvait un homme qui avait perdu tout son argent dans une entreprise rat\u00e9e. Il n&#039;avait plus rien pour rembourser sa dette. Tr\u00e8s inquiet de ne pouvoir payer, il d\u00e9cida que le moins qu&#039;il puisse faire \u00e9tait d&#039;aller en personne trouver le riche propri\u00e9taire et de lui expliquer toute la situation, en lui assurant que ce n&#039;\u00e9tait pas de sa faute. Le d\u00e9biteur se pr\u00e9senta donc chez le riche propri\u00e9taire et commen\u00e7a \u00e0 lui expliquer comment il avait obtenu un pr\u00eat, mais qu&#039;au moment du remboursement, il s&#039;\u00e9tait trouv\u00e9 dans l&#039;incapacit\u00e9 de le faire, ayant perdu son argent, et qu&#039;il ne savait plus quoi faire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u00a0Que m\u2019importe l\u2019argent que vous me devez\u00a0?\u00a0\u201d r\u00e9pondit l\u2019homme riche. \u201c\u00a0Quelle importance a cette somme d\u00e9risoire, que vous me la remboursiez ou non, compar\u00e9e au montant total de tous les pr\u00eats, qui se chiffre en dizaines de milliers\u00a0? Ce que je veux, c\u2019est que vous alliez voir tous ceux qui ont emprunt\u00e9 chez moi et que vous leur r\u00e9clamiez leur argent. Rappelez-leur combien ils me doivent et demandez-leur pourquoi ils ne r\u00e8glent pas leur dette.
