\u00c9viter toute frivolit\u00e9 dans l'usage du Nom de Dieu ne se limite pas \u00e0 s'abstenir de jurer \u00e0 la l\u00e9g\u00e8re, comme certains le sugg\u00e8rent. Il s'agit d'un appel profond \u00e0 traiter Son Nom avec respect et r\u00e9v\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma\u00efmonide, \u00e9minent \u00e9rudit de la tradition juive, explique que le respect du Nom de Dieu, lorsqu'il est utilis\u00e9 avec l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9, d\u00e9coule d'un profond respect et d'une grande v\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Ce respect est le fondement de la vie juive et impr\u00e8gne toute interaction avec le Nom de Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette approche respectueuse du Nom de Dieu s'applique non seulement aux paroles prononc\u00e9es, mais aussi au langage \u00e9crit. Deut\u00e9ronome 12:3-4<\/a> ordonne que le Nom (h\u00e9breu) de Dieu ne soit pas effac\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9crire le Nom de Dieu avec un tiret est une marque de respect et de prudence. Cela signifie la volont\u00e9 de prot\u00e9ger le Nom Sacr\u00e9 de toute utilisation involontaire ou irr\u00e9v\u00e9rencieuse, m\u00eame dans les contextes les plus courants. Cependant, l'opinion rabbinique courante autorise \u00e0 \u00e9crire \u201c\u00a0Dieu\u00a0\u201d dans une autre langue sans probl\u00e8me. Ici, \u00e0 Sukkat Shalom, nous avons choisi d'utiliser le tiret par respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le profond respect d\u00fb au Nom de Dieu s'applique \u00e0 tous les peuples, comme en t\u00e9moignent les lois noachides, o\u00f9 le deuxi\u00e8me commandement nous enjoint de ne pas blasph\u00e9mer Son Nom et de L'approcher avec respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette approche du nom divin rec\u00e8le une profonde le\u00e7on spirituelle pour nous tous : un rappel de la saintet\u00e9 et de la grandeur du divin, et un appel \u00e0 une vie empreinte de respect, de r\u00e9v\u00e9rence et d'amour pour le Cr\u00e9ateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
