Dans notre portion de la Torah, Pinchas, la lecture proph\u00e9tique de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie 1 (Haptara) de cette semaine contient un message destin\u00e9 \u00e0 l'ensemble de l'humanit\u00e9. L'interdiction du culte des idoles dans les sept lois noahides est intrins\u00e8quement li\u00e9e \u00e0 J\u00e9r\u00e9mie 1:5. Tous deux soulignent l'importance d'adorer D.ieu et de rejeter les fausses idoles. Le verset dit : \"Avant de te former dans le ventre de ta m\u00e8re, je t'ai connu ; avant ta naissance, je t'ai mis \u00e0 part ; je t'ai \u00e9tabli proph\u00e8te des nations\". Ce verset enseigne que Dieu connaissait J\u00e9r\u00e9mie avant sa naissance et qu'il avait une mission sp\u00e9cifique pour lui. De m\u00eame, les sept lois de No\u00e9 sugg\u00e8rent un plan et un but divins pour chaque \u00eatre humain. La mission de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie \u00e9tait universelle ; il devait transmettre le message de D-ieu \u00e0 toutes les nations, appelant \u00e0 l'adoration de D-ieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La mission universelle de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie en tant que proph\u00e8te des nations garantit que les individus maintiennent une relation directe et sinc\u00e8re avec D.ieu Lui-m\u00eame, sans les distorsions et les mensonges de l'idol\u00e2trie. Elles refl\u00e8tent toutes deux la responsabilit\u00e9 universelle qui incombe \u00e0 chaque \u00eatre humain et l'attente divine d'un comportement moral de la part de tous les peuples. Le r\u00f4le de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie en tant que proph\u00e8te \u00e9tait de guider et de conduire les gens vers la justice. Les sept lois de No\u00e9 remplissent une fonction similaire, en fournissant aux non-Juifs un ensemble de directives divines. L'observance des sept lois de No\u00e9 est un moyen pour les non-Juifs de sanctifier leur vie et de s'aligner sur la volont\u00e9 divine.
