Le premier commandement est\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Tu ouvriras ta main\u00a0\u201d, et le second\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Tu lui donneras\u00a0\u201d. Dans les deux cas, la Torah emploie une expression double\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0ouvrir, tu ouvriras\u00a0\u201d et \u201c\u00a0donner, tu donneras\u00a0\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette double formulation signifie que l&#039;obligation de faire l&#039;aum\u00f4ne n&#039;est pas un acte ponctuel, mais un devoir r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9. La Torah insiste sur le fait qu&#039;il faut concr\u00e8tement subvenir aux besoins des n\u00e9cessiteux. Ce double langage souligne la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 de l&#039;aum\u00f4ne et met en lumi\u00e8re l&#039;importance de lutter contre la r\u00e9ticence \u00e0 donner (qui aime donner son argent ?). Surmonter cette lutte r\u00e9v\u00e8le la force int\u00e9rieure de chacun et constitue un acte particuli\u00e8rement m\u00e9ritoire. Il peut s&#039;agir d&#039;un besoin mat\u00e9riel ou spirituel. Dans les deux cas, nous devons nous efforcer de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des n\u00e9cessiteux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans tout acte de charit\u00e9, il faut ouvrir son c\u0153ur et sa main, et \u00e9viter \u00e0 tout prix de se montrer indiff\u00e9rent et de rester ferm\u00e9. Le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre commentateur Rachi affirme qu&#039;il convient de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter cet acte de charit\u00e9 \u201c jusqu&#039;\u00e0 cent fois \u201d. Cela signifie que s&#039;affranchir de toute limitation dans l&#039;accomplissement de ce commandement attire une abondance sans fin sur celui qui le pratique. La mani\u00e8re dont on traite autrui est celle dont on est trait\u00e9 par le Ciel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le lien entre la charit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9demption r\u00e9side dans le fait qu&#039;elle aide les n\u00e9cessiteux tout en purifiant et en \u00e9levant celui qui donne. En faisant l&#039;aum\u00f4ne, on imite la bont\u00e9 et la mis\u00e9ricorde divines, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 r\u00e9pandre la gr\u00e2ce dans le monde. L&#039;accumulation de tels actes de bont\u00e9 h\u00e2te la venue du Messie et la r\u00e9demption finale. Ceci est particuli\u00e8rement important durant le mois d&#039;Eloul, qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de Roch Hachana, o\u00f9 multiplier les actes de charit\u00e9 est une bonne pr\u00e9paration au jugement du Nouvel An juif, f\u00eate durant laquelle le monde entier est jug\u00e9. Cette pr\u00e9paration s&#039;applique \u00e9galement aux Noachides.
