Mo\u00efse r\u00e9agit en disant au m\u00e9chant : \u201c Pourquoi frappes-tu ton prochain ? \u201d Le verbe \u2019 frapper \u201c, au futur, indique que l&#039;homme n&#039;avait pas encore frapp\u00e9 son prochain, et pourtant, il est d\u00e9j\u00e0 qualifi\u00e9 de \u2018 m\u00e9chant '. En effet, la Torah (Sanhedrin 58b) nous enseigne que \u201d celui qui l\u00e8ve la main contre son prochain, m\u00eame sans l&#039;avoir frapp\u00e9, est qualifi\u00e9 de m\u00e9chant \u2018. On peut consid\u00e9rer le fait de lever la main comme le d\u00e9but de l&#039;acte de frapper autrui. C&#039;est l\u00e0 la nouveaut\u00e9 de cette histoire : m\u00eame le simple fait de commencer \u00e0 frapper suffit \u00e0 qualifier une personne de \u2019 m\u00e9chante \u2018.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, si une personne est qualifi\u00e9e de \u2018 m\u00e9chante \u2019, ce n&#039;est pas seulement en raison du pr\u00e9judice et des souffrances caus\u00e9s ult\u00e9rieurement \u00e0 la personne frapp\u00e9e, mais aussi en raison de la personne elle-m\u00eame : une personne qui l\u00e8ve la main contre son prochain, m\u00eame si cela ne s&#039;est pas traduit par un coup r\u00e9el, et m\u00eame si l&#039;autre personne n&#039;a encore subi aucune douleur ni aucun pr\u00e9judice \u2013 le simple fait de lever la main refl\u00e8te un certain niveau de comportement et un mauvais trait de caract\u00e8re, \u00e0 savoir une inclination n\u00e9gative, et c&#039;est pourquoi elle est qualifi\u00e9e de \u2018 m\u00e9chante \u2019.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il convient d&#039;expliquer pourquoi lever la main est sp\u00e9cifiquement interdit. Le but de la cr\u00e9ation humaine est de \u201c servir notre Cr\u00e9ateur \u201d, de servir le Cr\u00e9ateur infini en mettant tous les membres de notre corps au service de Dieu. La main symbolise le don, et c&#039;est l\u00e0 sa fonction principale : faire l&#039;aum\u00f4ne, accomplir la bont\u00e9, aider autrui \u00e0 accomplir les commandements. Lorsque cette main est lev\u00e9e dans un but diam\u00e9tralement oppos\u00e9 \u2013 frapper autrui \u2013, il s&#039;agit d&#039;un p\u00e9ch\u00e9 grave, car ce faisant, on pervertit la fonction de la main, la faisant passer de son extr\u00eame positif \u00e0 son extr\u00eame n\u00e9gatif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce sujet concerne \u00e9galement les Noachides. Parmi les Sept Lois de No\u00e9 figure l&#039;interdiction de frapper autrui. Quiconque blesse autrui est tenu de d\u00e9dommager la victime de diverses mani\u00e8res, notamment en couvrant les cinq aspects mentionn\u00e9s dans la Torah\u00a0: les dommages mat\u00e9riels, la douleur, les soins m\u00e9dicaux, la perte d&#039;emploi et le pr\u00e9judice moral (Ramban, Gen\u00e8se 34:13). Par cons\u00e9quent, les tribunaux du monde entier doivent appliquer cette loi afin de r\u00e9duire la violence croissante \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle mondiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous pouvons ainsi comprendre l&#039;importance d&#039;agir positivement, de \u2018 lever la main \u2019, pour le bien d&#039;autrui, plut\u00f4t que de suivre notre nature ou nos habitudes.
