Les sages estiment que le respect de Dieu et le respect des parents sont en quelque sorte parall\u00e8les. La question est\u00a0: pourquoi ces commandements sont-ils assimil\u00e9s\u00a0?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans les temps anciens, les hommes contemplaient le soleil et la lune, les \u00e9toiles et les constellations, et disaient\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Puisque le Seigneur les a cr\u00e9\u00e9s, les a \u00e9lev\u00e9s au firmament et leur a conf\u00e9r\u00e9 honneur, ils sont dignes de louange, de gloire et d\u2019adoration.\u00a0\u201d Lorsqu\u2019ils virent que Dieu leur interdisait de les adorer, ils dirent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Il exige cela pour Son honneur\u00a0\u00bb, comme si le Cr\u00e9ateur \u00e9tait jaloux d\u2019eux et ne voulait pas qu\u2019ils honorent quiconque d\u2019autre que Lui. Mais lorsqu\u2019ils virent que le Cr\u00e9ateur avait ordonn\u00e9 d\u2019honorer son p\u00e8re et sa m\u00e8re, ils comprirent que l\u2019interdiction de l\u2019idol\u00e2trie ne venait pas de la jalousie, loin de l\u00e0, car Il assimilait l\u2019hommage rendu au p\u00e8re et \u00e0 la m\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019hommage rendu au Cr\u00e9ateur Lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quelle est la v\u00e9ritable diff\u00e9rence entre les astres, qu&#039;il est interdit d&#039;honorer car cela rel\u00e8ve de l&#039;idol\u00e2trie, et le p\u00e8re et la m\u00e8re, que nous avons le devoir d&#039;honorer et que nous appelons \u201c\u00a0partenaires\u00a0\u201d de Dieu\u00a0? La diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side dans le fait que les astres et les signes du zodiaque n&#039;ont aucun pouvoir ni influence propres et sont incapables de choisir. En revanche, les parents ont le choix, puisqu&#039;ils sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision de se marier et de donner naissance \u00e0 un enfant. Certes, la cr\u00e9ation de l&#039;enfant est entre les mains de Dieu, mais puisque les parents ont choisi de participer \u00e0 cette cr\u00e9ation, ils m\u00e9ritent notre gratitude pour ce choix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#039;honneur d\u00fb au p\u00e8re et \u00e0 la m\u00e8re ne figure pas officiellement parmi les Sept Commandements noachides. Cependant, les enfants de No\u00e9 doivent n\u00e9anmoins honorer leurs parents\u00a0; il s&#039;agit d&#039;une obligation qui rel\u00e8ve du bon sens, et certains rabbins affirment qu&#039;elle d\u00e9coule du septi\u00e8me commandement, \u201c\u00a0Dinim\u00a0\u201d, qui signifie non seulement d\u00e9signer des juges justes, mais aussi veiller \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tablissement d&#039;une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9quitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pouvoir m\u00eame de procr\u00e9er est une expression de la puissance infinie de Dieu. La cr\u00e9ation est par nature limit\u00e9e et, de ce fait, elle se d\u00e9grade progressivement. D&#039;o\u00f9 provient ce pouvoir de renouvellement et de procr\u00e9ation, qui donne naissance \u00e0 de nouveaux \u00eatres humains\u00a0? Il provient de la puissance illimit\u00e9e de Dieu. La participation des parents \u00e0 cette union n&#039;est pas une chose humaine, mais rel\u00e8ve \u00e9galement d&#039;une puissance divine.
