L&#039;id\u00e9e selon laquelle les non-Juifs ne peuvent lire les parties de la Torah qui ne concernent pas directement le Code noachide provient d&#039;une mauvaise compr\u00e9hension de l&#039;expression \u201c\u00a0approfondir\u00a0\u201d. Levons ce malentendu et expliquons quels passages de la Torah les non-Juifs peuvent lire et \u00e9tudier, et ce que signifie \u201c\u00a0approfondir\u00a0\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les non-Juifs peuvent lire la Torah en entier<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les non-Juifs sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 lire les 24 livres du Tanakh (la Bible h\u00e9bra\u00efque, comprenant la Torah, les Proph\u00e8tes et les \u00c9crits). Ceci inclut \u00e9galement les commentaires qui expliquent le sens litt\u00e9ral du texte, tels que ceux des commentateurs renomm\u00e9s Rachi, Sforno et Ibn Ezra, afin de comprendre correctement les versets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous l&#039;apprenons de Rambam (Ma\u00efmonide) dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Mishneh_Torah%2C_Tefillin%2C_Mezuzah_and_the_Torah_Scroll.10.8?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\">Lois du rouleau de la Torah<\/a> <em>10:8<\/em>, o\u00f9 il d\u00e9clare :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c Un non-Juif peut tenir un rouleau de la Torah et en lire des passages. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela d\u00e9montre qu&#039;il n&#039;y a pas d&#039;interdiction de lire les textes eux-m\u00eames, pourvu que l&#039;on s&#039;attache \u00e0 comprendre leur Peshat, leur sens simple et litt\u00e9ral. Le Peshat d\u00e9signe l&#039;interpr\u00e9tation directe d&#039;un texte, sans s&#039;enliser dans des explications mystiques. Cependant, si des commentateurs comme Rachi utilisent des \u00e9l\u00e9ments midrashiques pour \u00e9clairer un verset, les non-Juifs devraient se concentrer sur le message principal que le commentateur souhaite transmettre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Que signifie \u201c\u00a0approfondir\u00a0\u201d\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019expression \u201c\u00a0approfondir\u00a0\u201d d\u00e9signe une \u00e9tude approfondie de la Torah visant \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir une connaissance profonde de celle-ci. (Le Code Divin, par le rabbin Moshe Weiner)<sup data-fn=\"87a40b80-551f-414f-9ba6-2cbe867cb428\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"87a40b80-551f-414f-9ba6-2cbe867cb428-link\" href=\"#87a40b80-551f-414f-9ba6-2cbe867cb428\">2<\/a><\/sup> d\u00e9finit cela comme suit\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c\u00a0Il s\u2019agit d\u2019apprendre uniquement pour acqu\u00e9rir la connaissance de la Torah. Cela implique un engagement profond dans l\u2019\u00e9tude et un apprentissage p\u00e9n\u00e9trant et rigoureux. Cela comprend l\u2019apprentissage d\u2019une compr\u00e9hension approfondie des lois d\u00e9taill\u00e9es de la Torah, des raisons profondes des commandements, ou de la profondeur de l\u2019intention des mots des \u00c9critures et du Talmud, et ce, sans aucun autre but.\u00a0\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est essentiel de comprendre que cette forme d&#039;\u00e9tude approfondie est destin\u00e9e au peuple juif, qui a re\u00e7u la Torah en h\u00e9ritage de Dieu. Ma\u00efmonide (Lois des Rois 10:9) pr\u00e9cise\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c Ils ne doivent rien aborder d\u2019autre que leurs\u2026 commandements noachiques. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, il ressort \u00e9galement clairement de Ma\u00efmonide que les non-Juifs <strong>doit<\/strong> Ils doivent \u00e9tudier en profondeur le Code noachide afin de remplir correctement leurs obligations. Comme le dit Ma\u00efmonide dans le Livre des Rois 10:1\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c Un non-Juif qui a p\u00e9ch\u00e9 par erreur faute d\u2019avoir appris est responsable. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela montre que les non-Juifs ont la responsabilit\u00e9 de comprendre pleinement leurs commandements. Dans le cadre plus large du Code noachide, un Gentil pieux <strong>peut (et devrait)<\/strong> s&#039;engager dans la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration<sup data-fn=\"7a3101fa-d244-4b1a-9e4c-66d959dae917\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"7a3101fa-d244-4b1a-9e4c-66d959dae917-link\" href=\"#7a3101fa-d244-4b1a-9e4c-66d959dae917\">3<\/a><\/sup> apprentissage par l&#039;investigation, notamment l&#039;exploration des d\u00e9tails complexes et du raisonnement qui sous-tendent ces commandements.<sup data-fn=\"e6b44763-e4fb-4adf-865f-5055b7f4e369\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"e6b44763-e4fb-4adf-865f-5055b7f4e369-link\" href=\"#e6b44763-e4fb-4adf-865f-5055b7f4e369\">4<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La distinction : quels sujets les non-Juifs peuvent-ils \u00e9tudier en profondeur ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La distinction r\u00e9side dans le <strong>Code Noahide<\/strong>, Les sept commandements imposent aux non-Juifs de suivre les lois morales universelles. Il leur est demand\u00e9 de bien comprendre ces commandements et d&#039;approfondir leur \u00e9tude, notamment en examinant des obligations concr\u00e8tes comme faire l&#039;aum\u00f4ne ou honorer leurs parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, ils ne peuvent pas approfondir les parties de la Torah qui concernent les 613 mitsvot, lesquelles sont exclusivement obligatoires pour le peuple juif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pourquoi cette distinction est-elle importante\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Torah est un don de Dieu au peuple juif comme h\u00e9ritage, comme indiqu\u00e9 dans <a href=\"https:\/\/mechon-mamre.org\/p\/pt\/pt0533.htm\">Deut\u00e9ronome 33:4<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>4<\/strong>&nbsp;Mo\u00efse nous a donn\u00e9 une loi, un h\u00e9ritage de la congr\u00e9gation de Jacob.<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-right\" data-align=\"right\"><strong>\u05d3<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;\u05ea\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e8\u05b8\u05d4 \u05e6\u05b4\u05d5\u05b8\u05bc\u05d4-\u05dc\u05b8\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc, \u05de\u05b9\u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05d4: \u05de\u05d5\u05b9\u05e8\u05b8\u05e9\u05b8\u05c1\u05d4, \u05e7\u05b0\u05d4\u05b4\u05dc\u05b7\u05bc\u05ea \u05d9\u05b7\u05e2\u05b2\u05e7\u05b9\u05d1.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c La Torah que Mo\u00efse nous a prescrite est l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de la communaut\u00e9 de Jacob. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le peuple juif a pour mission de comprendre les significations profondes et les dimensions mystiques de la Torah. Les non-Juifs, quant \u00e0 eux, ont la responsabilit\u00e9 de suivre le Code noachide, qui guide leurs obligations \u00e9thiques et spirituelles. En se concentrant sur ce qui est pertinent pour leur r\u00f4le, les non-Juifs pr\u00e9servent la clart\u00e9 et le respect du caract\u00e8re sacr\u00e9 de la Torah en tant qu&#039;h\u00e9ritage juif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les non-Juifs peuvent lire l&#039;int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 du Tanakh \u00e0 condition de s&#039;en tenir au sens litt\u00e9ral du texte. Ils ne doivent pas s&#039;attarder sur les aspects mystiques ou profonds r\u00e9serv\u00e9s exclusivement au peuple juif. Il est essentiel pour les non-Juifs de bien comprendre le Code noachide et d&#039;approfondir son \u00e9tude, tout en s&#039;abstenant de s&#039;int\u00e9resser aux lois juives complexes qui ne les concernent pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est important de noter que les Juifs ont le commandement sp\u00e9cifique d&#039;\u00e9tudier la Torah pour elle-m\u00eame, et non pas seulement pour acqu\u00e9rir une connaissance pratique des commandements. Cela est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme leur \u201c\u00a0h\u00e9ritage\u00a0\u201d et une obligation spirituelle. Les non-Juifs n&#039;ont pas un tel commandement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette approche permet aux non-Juifs de d\u00e9velopper une compr\u00e9hension claire et concr\u00e8te de leurs responsabilit\u00e9s spirituelles, tout en respectant la relation unique qui unit le peuple juif \u00e0 la Torah.
