Int\u00e9grer la Torah dans sa vie par la r\u00e9flexion et la conversation peut \u00eatre une exp\u00e9rience incroyablement amusante et engageante. C'est un voyage de d\u00e9couverte, o\u00f9 la sagesse ancienne et les enseignements intemporels prennent vie dans nos exp\u00e9riences quotidiennes. Quelques r\u00e9flexions sur la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Parshat Behar Bechukotai<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rien ne nous appartient vraiment \u2014 et c'est bien l\u00e0 le probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Parashat Behar<\/em>, La Torah enseigne une id\u00e9e profonde et \u00e0 contre-courant :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c La terre ne sera pas vendue \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9, car la terre m\u2019appartient ; car vous \u00eates chez moi des \u00e9trangers et des r\u00e9sidents temporaires. \u201d (L\u00e9vitique 25:23)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce principe fait partie des lois de l'ann\u00e9e du Jubil\u00e9 (Yovel), observ\u00e9e tous les 50 ans dans l'ancien Isra\u00ebl. Durant cette ann\u00e9e, les terres \u00e9taient restitu\u00e9es \u00e0 leurs propri\u00e9taires d'origine et les engag\u00e9s \u00e9taient affranchis. C'\u00e9tait comme une remise \u00e0 z\u00e9ro pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, un rappel saisissant que la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 est \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re et que Dieu seul est le v\u00e9ritable Ma\u00eetre de la terre et de tout ce que nous poss\u00e9dons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette id\u00e9e va \u00e0 l'encontre de la pens\u00e9e moderne. On nous apprend que si nous gagnons ou achetons quelque chose, cela devient\u2026 (nous poss\u00e9dons, nous l'avons achet\u00e9). la n\u00f4tre<\/em>, Pour toujours. Mais la Torah remet en question cette id\u00e9e. M\u00eame en Terre d'Isra\u00ebl, la possibilit\u00e9 pour un Juif de poss\u00e9der ou de r\u00e9sider sur une terre est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une permission divine, et non un droit acquis. La terre appartient \u00e0 Dieu, non au peuple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cela a des implications universelles. Le sage rabbin Elazar de Bartosa enseignait\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Rendez-lui ce qui est \u00e0 lui, car vous et tout ce que vous poss\u00e9dez lui appartiennent. \u201d (Pirkei Avot 3:7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cela ne signifie pas que nous ne pouvons pas profiter de nos biens ou pr\u00e9server notre vie priv\u00e9e. Mais cela nous rappelle que nos forces, notre intelligence, notre argent et nos talents sont des dons. Nous n'en sommes pas la source. Et puisque nous ne les avons pas cr\u00e9\u00e9s, nous sommes invit\u00e9s \u00e0 les utiliser avec g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et sagesse, notamment au service de causes plus nobles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce message trouve un \u00e9cho profond chez les Noachides, eux aussi appel\u00e9s \u00e0 mener une vie \u00e9thique et spirituelle fond\u00e9e sur la justice, la bienveillance et le respect du Dieu unique. Bien que les lois du Jubil\u00e9 ne s'appliquent pas \u00e0 eux, le principe qui le sous-tend demeure intemporel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce que nous poss\u00e9dons n'est pas uniquement pour nous. Nos dons sont faits pour \u00eatre partag\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Que ce soit par la charit\u00e9, la bienveillance, l'hospitalit\u00e9 ou simplement en aidant une personne dans le besoin, cet \u00e9tat d'esprit nous ouvre la voie \u00e0 une vie empreinte de gratitude et d'humilit\u00e9. Il nous prot\u00e8ge \u00e9galement des illusions toxiques d'un pouvoir ou d'une possession permanents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Vous est-il d\u00e9j\u00e0 arriv\u00e9 de vous accrocher d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment \u00e0 quelque chose \u2014 de l\u2019argent, du temps, un statut \u2014 en pensant que cela vous appartenait vraiment\u00a0? Qu\u2019est-ce qui a chang\u00e9 votre perspective\u00a0?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Comment le fait de se percevoir comme un \u201c voyageur avec Dieu \u201d pourrait-il changer votre approche de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9, du succ\u00e8s ou du don ?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. De quelles mani\u00e8res b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiez-vous des bienfaits de la force, de l'intelligence ou des ressources\u00a0? Comment partagez-vous ces bienfaits avec les autres\u00a0?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Pouvez-vous penser \u00e0 des moments o\u00f9 la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 ou le d\u00e9tachement vous ont apport\u00e9 une plus grande paix int\u00e9rieure ou une plus grande clart\u00e9 spirituelle ?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
