Ils invoquaient une imagerie spirituelle profonde, faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 des \u00eatres dont le peuple avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu parler : les <strong>N\u00e9philim<\/strong>, litt\u00e9ralement \u201c les d\u00e9chus \u201d. Mais qui \u00e9taient ces N\u00e9philim, et pourquoi leur simple mention paralysait-elle la nation de peur ?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Anges d\u00e9chus ou id\u00e9aux d\u00e9chus ?<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Selon un midrash puissant (Aggadat Bereishit), les N\u00e9philim n&#039;\u00e9taient pas simplement de grands hommes. Ils \u00e9taient autrefois <strong>anges<\/strong> \u2014 des \u00eatres c\u00e9lestes qui avaient critiqu\u00e9 l&#039;humanit\u00e9 pour sa faiblesse. Lorsque Dieu annon\u00e7a la destruction imminente de l&#039;humanit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque du D\u00e9luge, deux anges, <strong>Uzza et Azael<\/strong>, object\u00e9 :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c Qu\u2019est-ce que l\u2019homme, pour que tu te souviennes de lui ? \u201d (Psaume 8:5)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Leur message \u00e9tait clair : pourquoi investir dans une cr\u00e9ature aussi imparfaite que l&#039;homme ?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dieu leur r\u00e9pondit en les interpellant : \u201c Si vous viviez parmi eux, vous tomberiez vous aussi. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Les anges relev\u00e8rent le d\u00e9fi. Confiants en leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9sister au p\u00e9ch\u00e9, ils descendirent sur Terre, mais \u00e9chou\u00e8rent presque aussit\u00f4t. Pi\u00e9g\u00e9s par les d\u00e9sirs terrestres et attir\u00e9s par la beaut\u00e9 des femmes, ils se corrompirent. Selon la tradition, il leur fut interdit de retourner au Ciel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Il s&#039;agissait des <strong>N\u00e9philim<\/strong> \u2014 pas seulement des g\u00e9ants par leur stature, mais <strong>g\u00e9ants qui sont tomb\u00e9s<\/strong>, tant sur le plan moral que spirituel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Le message plus profond des espions<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pourquoi les espions ont-ils \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les N\u00e9philim\u00a0? Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas simplement pour dire\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Nous avons vu des \u00eatres vraiment gigantesques.\u00a0\u201d C\u2019\u00e9tait un message th\u00e9ologique cod\u00e9\u00a0: m\u00eame les anges ne pourraient survivre ici-bas. Quelles chances avons-nous\u00a0?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00c0 leurs yeux, vivre une vie sainte dans le monde physique \u00e9tait impossible. Si des \u00eatres c\u00e9lestes \u2014 purs et libres de toute pulsion humaine \u2014 ne pouvaient r\u00e9sister aux tentations terrestres, comment pouvait-on esp\u00e9rer que les \u00eatres humains y parviennent ?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mais ce fut leur erreur tragique.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Caleb et Joshua : La foi dans le potentiel humain<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Caleb et Joshua \u00e9taient en d\u00e9saccord :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c Si Dieu nous veut, il nous conduira dans ce pays et nous le donnera. \u201d (Nombres 14:8)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ils avaient compris quelque chose de fondamental : <strong>Dieu a cr\u00e9\u00e9 le monde physique sp\u00e9cifiquement pour nous<\/strong>. L\u2019\u00e2me humaine n\u2019est pas inf\u00e9rieure aux anges. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, comme l\u2019enseigne le Tanya (chapitre 2), notre \u00e2me est \u201c litt\u00e9ralement une partie de Dieu \u201d. Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour ce monde, avec la force de l\u2019\u00e9lever.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tandis que les anges reculent devant les luttes terrestres, l&#039;\u00e2me humaine <strong>transforme la lutte en saintet\u00e9<\/strong>. Voil\u00e0 notre mission.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Ce que cela signifie pour Bnei Noach<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pour les Bnei Noach \u2014 les non-Juifs qui cherchent \u00e0 servir Dieu \u00e0 travers les 7 Lois Universelles \u2014 ce message est essentiel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Votre t\u00e2che n&#039;est pas d&#039;imiter les rituels ou pratiques spirituelles juives destin\u00e9s \u00e0 une autre mission. \u00c0 l&#039;instar des espions qui refus\u00e8rent d&#039;entrer en Terre promise, il existe une tentation de croire que la spiritualit\u00e9 n&#039;existe que dans des expressions religieuses \u201c sup\u00e9rieures \u201d \u2014 d&#039;abandonner le monde mat\u00e9riel \u00e0 la recherche de quelque chose qui semble plus sacr\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mais la saintet\u00e9 se trouve <strong>pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ici<\/strong>: dans vos relations, dans votre travail, dans le soin apport\u00e9 aux animaux, \u00e0 la justice et \u00e0 la nature. L&#039;appel des Bnei Noach est de sanctifier le quotidien, de faire en sorte que <strong>Le monde physique est une demeure pour Dieu.<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Conclusion : N\u2019ayez pas peur des g\u00e9ants<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Les espions ont \u00e9chou\u00e9 non pas parce qu&#039;ils ont menti, mais parce qu&#039;ils manquaient de confiance. <strong>potentiel humain<\/strong>.
