Pourquoi donc vous \u00e9levez-vous au-dessus de l\u2019assembl\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00c9ternel ? \u2019<br><strong>Guemara,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Shabbat.119b?lang=he-en&amp;utm_source=aish.com&amp;utm_medium=sefaria_linker\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chabbat, 119b<\/a>:&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201c J\u00e9rusalem a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truite uniquement parce qu\u2019ils ont assimil\u00e9 le katan (petit) au gadol (grand) \u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Au d\u00e9but de la Paracha, Korach, cherchant \u00e0 usurper le pouvoir de Mo\u00efse et d&#039;Aaron, avance un argument astucieux\u00a0: chaque Juif est saint, chaque Juif entretient une relation avec Dieu, alors pourquoi vous \u00e9lever au-dessus d&#039;eux\u00a0? Par cet argument, Korach fut peut-\u00eatre le premier d&#039;une longue lign\u00e9e \u00e0 adopter une vision \u00e9galitaire, selon laquelle tous les \u00eatres humains sont \u00e9gaux et doivent \u00eatre trait\u00e9s de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote1sym\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme c&#039;est souvent le cas avec les conceptions erron\u00e9es, il y a une part de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans les paroles de Korach \u2013 il est vrai que chaque Juif est saint et entretient une relation personnelle avec Dieu. Cependant, le Be&#039;er Moshe<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote2sym\">2<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0d\u00e9crit clairement les cons\u00e9quences d\u00e9sastreuses de cette approche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il cite un passage du Talmud qui affirme que J\u00e9rusalem a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truite uniquement parce qu&#039;on a assimil\u00e9 le petit au grand.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote3sym\">3<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;La Guemara en apporte la preuve par un verset : \u201c Et la nation sera comme le Cohen\u2026 \u201d,<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote4sym\">4<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;Cela signifie que les non-Kohanim voudront leur ressembler. La question qui se pose alors est\u00a0: pourquoi assimiler les petits aux grands \u00e9tait-il consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un p\u00e9ch\u00e9 si grave qu\u2019il a entra\u00een\u00e9 la destruction du Temple\u00a0?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Be&#039;er Moshe demande en outre que cette d\u00e9claration talmudique semble contredire une autre d\u00e9claration de la Gemara selon laquelle J\u00e9rusalem a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truite (\u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque du second Temple) \u00e0 cause d&#039;une haine sans fondement (sinat chinam).<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote5sym\">5<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;Quelle fut la cause ultime du Churban\u00a0? De plus, si l\u2019attitude dominante \u00e9tait que tous \u00e9taient \u00e9gaux, sur quelle base se fondaient alors leur ressentiment et leur haine mutuels\u00a0?<a href=\"https:\/\/aish.com\/the-perils-of-korachs-argument\/#sdfootnote6sym\"><sup>6<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Be&#039;er Moshe r\u00e9pond que cette question repose sur l&#039;id\u00e9e fausse que croire \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9galit\u00e9 de tous emp\u00eachera la haine gratuite. Or, c&#039;est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l&#039;inverse qui se produit : lorsque se r\u00e9pand cette mentalit\u00e9 d&#039;\u00e9galit\u00e9, la haine gratuite prolif\u00e8re. Car chacun argumentera : \u201c Si nous sommes \u00e9gaux, pourquoi es-tu sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 moi ? Pourquoi as-tu plus d&#039;honneurs, pourquoi as-tu plus de privil\u00e8ges ? \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour reprendre les mots du rabbin Yissachar Frand\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>La haine gratuite et l&#039;\u00e9galitarisme sont les deux faces d&#039;une m\u00eame pi\u00e8ce. Pourquoi vous prendre pour le chef, le leader, le rabbin, etc.\u00a0? Je vaux autant que vous\u00a0! Le Be&#039;er Moshe donne un exemple\u00a0: \u201d\u00a0Un \u00eatre humain poss\u00e8de un corps. Chaque partie du corps est importante. Mais toutes les parties du corps ne sont pas identiques. Si l&#039;on devait choisir entre perdre un petit doigt et perdre son c\u0153ur, que choisirait-on\u00a0? Le petit doigt, l&#039;index, et m\u00eame une jambe ne sont pas des membres sans lesquels la vie serait impossible. En revanche, on ne peut vivre sans c\u0153ur ni sans cerveau. Nous formons tous un seul corps, et toutes ses parties \u0153uvrent dans un seul but\u00a0: maintenir l&#039;\u00eatre humain en vie. Mais il existe des diff\u00e9rences. Il y a une hi\u00e9rarchie de priorit\u00e9, d&#039;importance.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela ne signifie pas que l&#039;auriculaire soit sans importance. Au contraire, il a un r\u00f4le \u00e0 jouer et peut atteindre son plein potentiel, pour ainsi dire, en remplissant ce r\u00f4le au mieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il en va de m\u00eame pour le peuple juif. La r\u00e9ussite m\u00eame du peuple juif repose sur la diversit\u00e9 des r\u00f4les attribu\u00e9s \u00e0 chacun. Tous ne sont pas destin\u00e9s \u00e0 diriger, tous ne peuvent \u00eatre Cohen, et tous ne m\u00e9ritent pas d&#039;\u00eatre des \u00e9rudits de la Torah. \u00c0 l&#039;\u00e9poque de la Destruction, ce fait fut rejet\u00e9, engendrant jalousie et, finalement, une haine injustifi\u00e9e. C&#039;est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qui se produisit dans l&#039;histoire de Cor\u00e9. Son argument selon lequel chacun \u00e9tait saint fut la cause directe de la terrible dispute qui causa tant de tort au peuple juif \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce probl\u00e8me continue de nuire au peuple juif\u00a0: lorsque certains contestent leur statut, cela peut engendrer jalousie et ressentiment, menant \u00e0 la haine et aux conflits. Lorsque l\u2019on accepte l\u2019id\u00e9e qu\u2019il existe des chefs et des disciples, des personnes cens\u00e9es\u2026&nbsp;<strong>faire<\/strong>&nbsp;les d\u00e9cisions et les personnes qui sont cens\u00e9es&nbsp;<strong>accepter<\/strong>&nbsp;Ces d\u00e9cisions permettent \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de fonctionner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela ne signifie pas que chacun ne puisse aspirer \u00e0 l&#039;excellence, mais simplement que l&#039;excellence de chacun d\u00e9pend de sa seule volont\u00e9, et non des honneurs, du respect ou du pouvoir ext\u00e9rieurs qu&#039;il re\u00e7oit d&#039;autrui.
