C\u2019est pourquoi L\u00e9vi n\u2019a ni part ni h\u00e9ritage avec ses fr\u00e8res\u00a0; Dieu est son h\u00e9ritage, comme Dieu, votre Dieu, le lui a dit.\u00a0\u201c Ces versets enseignent que la tribu de L\u00e9vi fut choisie par Dieu pour une mission spirituelle particuli\u00e8re\u00a0: accomplir un service sacr\u00e9, se tenir devant lui et b\u00e9nir en son nom.
