L\u2019interdiction des relations illicites est l\u2019une des sept lois noahides. Leur mention dans la portion de la Torah intitul\u00e9e \u201c\u00a0Ki Tetzei\u00a0\u201d dans le livre du Deut\u00e9ronome (22:13-23:9) t\u00e9moigne de leur importance capitale, tant pour le peuple juif que pour toute l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les interdictions relatives aux relations illicites, donn\u00e9es \u00e0 Adam d\u00e8s la cr\u00e9ation, constituent une \u00e9preuve fondamentale de l'effacement de soi devant la volont\u00e9 du Cr\u00e9ateur. Elles exigent de l'individu qu'il surmonte ses d\u00e9sirs et passions humains afin d'accomplir un commandement divin. Ces interdictions refl\u00e8tent la valeur fondamentale selon laquelle l'\u00eatre humain doit reconna\u00eetre l'existence d'un ordre sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 ses d\u00e9sirs personnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'interdiction des relations illicites est non seulement morale, mais aussi pratique. La famille est la pierre angulaire de toute soci\u00e9t\u00e9 harmonieuse. L'adult\u00e8re et les autres relations interdites fragilisent la stabilit\u00e9 familiale, \u00e9branlent la confiance mutuelle et engendrent une confusion identitaire chez les enfants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La subsistance du monde est une autre raison justifiant cette interdiction\u00a0: comme il est dit, \u201c\u00a0le jour et la nuit ne cesseront point\u00a0\u201d (Gen\u00e8se 8,22), le monde a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 pour \u00eatre nourricier et perdurer. L\u2019immoralit\u00e9 sexuelle peut mener \u00e0 une violation de l\u2019ordre naturel et social\u00a0; par cons\u00e9quent, ces interdictions sont essentielles \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quilibre du monde et \u00e0 sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9. Elles garantissent la continuit\u00e9 de l\u2019existence humaine de mani\u00e8re syst\u00e9matique et organis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La transgression des interdits de l'inceste compromet le dessein de la cr\u00e9ation, car ces actes s'\u00e9cartent du plan et de l'ordre \u00e9tablis par le Cr\u00e9ateur du monde pour le bien de toutes Ses cr\u00e9atures. Le respect de ces interdits est essentiel \u00e0 l'accomplissement de la vocation pour laquelle l'humanit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e. Dieu, le Bien supr\u00eame, a dot\u00e9 l'homme d'un cadre lui permettant d'accomplir le dessein de sa cr\u00e9ation et d'\u00eatre b\u00e9ni par le privil\u00e8ge d'avoir des enfants. Ce cadre est le mariage entre un homme et une femme uniquement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
