Rosh Hashanah est un temps de r\u00e9flexion, de pri\u00e8re et de demande de pardon \u00e0 Dieu.
\u00c0 la synagogue, la lecture de la Torah pour ce jour comprend non seulement les histoires de nos patriarches et matriarches, mais aussi celle d'Agar, la servante \u00e9gyptienne de Sarah. Sa place dans la lecture nous enseigne que m\u00eame la voix d'un \u00e9tranger est entendue par Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hagar : Une m\u00e8re en crise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


La Torah raconte qu'Agar fut envoy\u00e9e dans le d\u00e9sert avec son fils Isma\u00ebl. Lorsque leurs r\u00e9serves d'eau vinrent \u00e0 manquer et qu'aucune issue ne sembla possible, elle d\u00e9posa son enfant sous un buisson et s'assit \u00e0 distance, pleurant de d\u00e9sespoir. Alors un ange de Dieu apparut et demanda\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u201c Mah lach Hagar ? \u201d \u2013 \u201c Hagar, pourquoi pleures-tu ? \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, la question semble superflue. Bien s\u00fbr, l'ange savait pourquoi elle pleurait. Pourtant, le message est clair\u00a0: les larmes seules ne sauveraient pas son enfant. Dieu appelait Agar \u00e0 agir, \u00e0 relever son fils et \u00e0 se battre pour sa survie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le miracle d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Lorsque Agar suivit les instructions de l'ange, ses yeux s'ouvrirent et elle d\u00e9couvrit une source d'eau vive. L'eau \u00e9tait l\u00e0 depuis toujours, mais ses larmes lui obscurcissaient la vue. Le v\u00e9ritable miracle ne r\u00e9sidait pas dans l'apparition soudaine de l'eau, mais dans son courage de se lever et d'agir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agar comme mod\u00e8le pour Rosh Hashanah<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


L\u2019histoire d\u2019Agar montre que Dieu \u00e9coute non seulement les pri\u00e8res d\u2019Isra\u00ebl, mais aussi les cris de ceux qui vivent au-del\u00e0 de ses fronti\u00e8res. Parmi d'autres exemples, citons Naaman l'Aram\u00e9en, les habitants de Ninive qui se repentirent apr\u00e8s l'avertissement de Jonas, et m\u00eame \u00c9li\u00e9zer, le serviteur d'Abraham. Ces exemples confirment que l'attention et la mis\u00e9ricorde de Dieu s'\u00e9tendent \u00e0 tous les hommes.<\/strong> Cela rev\u00eat une signification particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 Rosh Hashanah, o\u00f9 Dieu juge non seulement le peuple juif, mais le monde entier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce jugement peut para\u00eetre intimidant lorsque nous r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissons \u00e0 nos erreurs, \u00e0 nos \u00e9checs et au bien que nous n'avons pas accompli. Le fait que Dieu ait entendu les pri\u00e8res de nos anc\u00eatres, qui vivaient comme des Noachides avant la r\u00e9v\u00e9lation de la Torah, montre qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une exception. C'est un principe\u00a0: Dieu \u00e9coute les pri\u00e8res de tous les Noachides justes.<\/strong> Pourtant, l'histoire d'Agar est porteuse d'espoir\u00a0: Dieu fait mis\u00e9ricorde \u00e0 tous ceux qui se tournent vers lui sinc\u00e8rement. Parall\u00e8lement, elle nous invite \u00e0 agir, \u00e0 soutenir ceux qui nous entourent, tout comme l'ange a exhort\u00e9 Agar \u00e0 aller chercher de l'eau pour son fils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'\u00e9cho du shofar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Pour les Juifs, entendre le shofar est une mitsva centrale de Roch Hachana. Les Noachides n'ont pas l'obligation d'entendre le shofar, mais ils peuvent eux aussi s'inspirer de son son. Le son plaintif du shofar rappelle les pleurs d'Agar dans le d\u00e9sert\u00a0: un cri de d\u00e9tresse auquel ont r\u00e9pondu l'espoir et la vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion : Kumi \u2013 L\u00e8ve-toi et agis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Comme l'ange l'a dit \u00e0 Agar :
\u201c Kumi \u2013 L\u00e8ve-toi, prends ton enfant dans tes bras et va chercher l\u2019eau. \u201d
C\u2019est aussi la le\u00e7on de Rosh Hashanah\u00a0: m\u00eame dans les moments de chagrin, de confusion et de d\u00e9sespoir, nous pouvons agir pour nous renouveler et grandir. Lorsque la pri\u00e8re s\u2019allie \u00e0 l\u2019action, le chemin s\u2019ouvre \u00e0 l\u2019espoir, au pardon et \u00e0 un nouveau d\u00e9part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, Agar nous appelle non seulement \u00e0 pleurer, mais aussi \u00e0 agir. Non seulement \u00e0 crier notre d\u00e9sespoir, mais aussi \u00e0 ouvrir les yeux sur ce que Dieu a d\u00e9j\u00e0 mis \u00e0 notre port\u00e9e. Ainsi, l'ann\u00e9e 5786 peut devenir une ann\u00e9e de renouveau, de pardon et de croissance spirituelle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
