Dans la paracha Vayera, Abraham est assis \u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e de sa tente lorsqu'il aper\u00e7oit trois voyageurs couverts de poussi\u00e8re qui se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent \u00eatre des anges. Il les invite \u00e0 entrer et les traite avec g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9. Il est \u00e9crit \u00e0 propos d'Abraham\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Car je le connais, et je sais qu'il ordonnera \u00e0 ses enfants et \u00e0 sa maison apr\u00e8s lui de garder la voie de l'\u00c9ternel, de pratiquer la justice et le droit\u00a0\u201d (Gen\u00e8se 18,19). De ce verset, les Sages enseignent (Ran Sanh\u00e9drin 56b) que les descendants de No\u00e9 sont tenus de pratiquer la bont\u00e9 et la bienveillance, y compris la charit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ceci \u00e9tablit la Charit\u00e9 et la Justice comme la voie de Dieu partag\u00e9e par toute l'Humanit\u00e9. Ce verset enseigne que le choix et l'amour de Dieu pour Abraham ne sont pas uniquement dus \u00e0 ses bonnes actions, mais aussi \u00e0 son d\u00e9sir de transmettre les valeurs universelles de Dieu aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures. Ces principes constituent le socle moral et pratique requis de toute l'Humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toute la section de Vayera est remplie d'actes de bont\u00e9 (visite aux malades, hospitalit\u00e9). Abraham fut donc choisi car il mena sa famille selon la voie de Dieu, qui inclut la charit\u00e9 et la justice. Bien que la Tsedaka ne soit pas l'un des sept commandements noachides, les Noachides doivent n\u00e9anmoins suivre les voies de Dieu et accomplir leurs obligations morales, comme visiter les malades, consoler les personnes en deuil, nourrir et loger les n\u00e9cessiteux, ainsi que d'autres actes non mon\u00e9taires tels que saluer, encourager et r\u00e9conforter ceux qui en ont besoin, et pratiquer l'\u00e9coute active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiconque juge avec v\u00e9rit\u00e9 est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un partenaire de Dieu dans l'acte de cr\u00e9ation. Pourquoi ? Parce que Dieu a cr\u00e9\u00e9 le monde pour qu'il soit pr\u00e9serv\u00e9 et parfait. Le juge juste pr\u00e9serve le monde de la destruction. Il accomplit la volont\u00e9 de Dieu de cr\u00e9er un monde juste. Le jugement final de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du D\u00e9luge \u00e9tait fond\u00e9 sur le vol et la violence. De l\u00e0, nous comprenons que l'absence de justice engendre la destruction et que la justice est essentielle \u00e0 l'existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Pratiquer la charit\u00e9 et la justice \u2018 englobe \u00e0 la fois l'obligation noachique d'\u00e9tablir un syst\u00e8me de justice (Dinim) et l'importance de la charit\u00e9. Face \u00e0 l'instabilit\u00e9 du monde, il est crucial d'adopter la vertu particuli\u00e8re de charit\u00e9 et de jugement juste. Toutes deux peuvent nous prot\u00e9ger des maux futurs et assurer notre s\u00e9curit\u00e9 spirituelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
