Dans la lecture de la Torah de cette semaine, nous trouvons une histoire apparemment sans rapport avec le sujet, celle des puits creus\u00e9s par Itzchak. Ramban en explique la le\u00e7on dans son commentaire sur Bereshit 26:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Les trois puits d&#039;Isaac : le message profond de Ramban<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La lecture de la Torah de cette semaine est <em>Toldos<\/em>, La Torah, dont le nom signifie litt\u00e9ralement \u201c\u00a0chroniques\u00a0\u201d, relate l\u2019histoire d\u2019Isaac, le deuxi\u00e8me anc\u00eatre du peuple juif. Comme toujours, la Torah n\u2019est pas qu\u2019un simple recueil d\u2019histoires\u00a0; c\u2019est un livre d\u2019enseignements. Chaque r\u00e9cit porte un message pour nous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;une des histoires fascinantes de cette section d\u00e9crit <strong>trois puits d&#039;eau<\/strong>. Dans le d\u00e9sert, l&#039;eau est source de vie\u00a0; aussi, les bergers d&#039;Isaac, comme ceux d&#039;Abraham avant lui, parcouraient le pays en creusant des puits. Bien qu&#039;Abraham les e\u00fbt d\u00e9j\u00e0 creus\u00e9s, les P\u00e9lichtim les avaient bouch\u00e9s, et Isaac les rouvrit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Torah relate ce qui s&#039;est pass\u00e9 chaque fois que les serviteurs d&#039;Isaac ont d\u00e9couvert un puits\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Le premier puits \u2013 \u201c Esek \u201d (Querelle)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les serviteurs d&#039;Isaac d\u00e9couvrirent de l&#039;eau fra\u00eeche et se r\u00e9jouirent. Mais aussit\u00f4t, les bergers de Gu\u00e9rar arriv\u00e8rent et s&#039;exclam\u00e8rent : \u201c Cette eau est \u00e0 nous ! \u201d Une dispute \u00e9clata. Le puits fut donc nomm\u00e9 ainsi. <strong>Esek<\/strong>, signification <em>querelle<\/em> ou <em>conflit<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Le deuxi\u00e8me puits \u2013 \u201c Sitnah \u201d (Haine)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les serviteurs d&#039;Isaac creus\u00e8rent un autre puits. De nouveau, les bergers de Gu\u00e9rar se le disput\u00e8rent. Ce puits fut appel\u00e9 <strong>Sitnah<\/strong>, signification <em>haine<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Le troisi\u00e8me puits \u2013 \u201c Rechovos \u201d (Espace, Abondance)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ils creus\u00e8rent alors un troisi\u00e8me puits. Cette fois, personne ne le contesta. Yitzchak le nomma ainsi. <strong>Rechovos<\/strong>, signification <em>grands espaces, immensit\u00e9, abondance<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c Car maintenant Dieu nous a fait une place, et nous porterons du fruit dans le pays. \u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, cela semble \u00eatre un r\u00e9cit simple\u00a0: trois puits, trois noms, trois disputes. Mais\u2026 <strong>Ramban (Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman)<\/strong> pose une question fondamentale :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pourquoi la Torah nous raconte-t-elle cette histoire ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pourquoi est-il important de savoir qu&#039;Isaac a creus\u00e9 des puits\u00a0? Pourquoi en consigner les noms\u00a0? Nous ignorons m\u00eame o\u00f9 ils se trouvent aujourd&#039;hui. En quoi cela enrichit-il notre compr\u00e9hension\u00a0?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramban explique que, selon nos Sages, les trois puits symbolisent\u2026 <strong>trois Beis HaMikdash<\/strong>\u2014 les trois Temples du Mont du Temple. Le nom de ces puits rec\u00e8le un message proph\u00e9tique concernant l&#039;histoire de ces Temples, les relations entre le peuple juif et les nations environnantes, et l&#039;avenir ultime lors de la venue du Messie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le premier puits \u2013 Esek et le premier temple<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier puits s&#039;appelle <strong>Esek<\/strong>, ce qui signifie conflit. Cela correspond au <strong>Premier Temple<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant l&#039;\u00e9poque du Premier Temple, un conflit intense \u00e9clata, non pas entre le peuple, mais entre les\u2026 <strong>dirigeants<\/strong>. Le royaume de Juda au sud et le royaume d&#039;Isra\u00ebl au nord \u00e9taient engag\u00e9s dans une lutte acharn\u00e9e. Cette division interne affaiblit la nation et ouvrit la voie aux attaques des puissances \u00e9trang\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalement, le <strong>Babyloniens<\/strong> Le Premier Temple fut d\u00e9truit. Ce ne furent pas les Juifs qui le d\u00e9truisirent\u00a0; la destruction vint de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Pourtant, le Ramban souligne que la cause profonde r\u00e9sidait dans les luttes intestines au sein de la direction de la nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incidemment \u2013 bien que Ramban ne le dise pas \u2013, l\u2019histoire a montr\u00e9 que lorsque les luttes intestines s\u2019intensifient, les ennemis ext\u00e9rieurs en profitent souvent. (On peut se rappeler combien les profondes divisions politiques ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 la trag\u00e9die du 7 octobre.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le deuxi\u00e8me puits \u2013 Sitna et le deuxi\u00e8me temple<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me puits s&#039;appelle <strong>Sitnah<\/strong>, ce qui signifie la haine. Cela repr\u00e9sente le <strong>Second Temple<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Talmud enseigne que le Second Temple a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit \u00e0 cause de <strong>sin&#039;as chinam<\/strong>, <em>haine sans fondement<\/em>\u2014 une haine sans raison. Contrairement \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque du Premier Temple, o\u00f9 les rois se livraient bataille, \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque du Second Temple, c&#039;\u00e9tait <strong>le peuple lui-m\u00eame<\/strong> qui \u00e9taient divis\u00e9s, m\u00e9fiants et hostiles les uns envers les autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette haine interne a engendr\u00e9 une d\u00e9sunion si profonde que\u2026 <strong>Romains<\/strong> Ils parvinrent \u00e0 conqu\u00e9rir J\u00e9rusalem et \u00e0 d\u00e9truire le Temple. Une fois encore, des ennemis ext\u00e9rieurs agissaient, mais la cause profonde r\u00e9sidait dans la rupture de l&#039;unit\u00e9 du peuple juif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le troisi\u00e8me puits \u2013 Rechovos et le temple \u00e9ternel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le troisi\u00e8me puits, <strong>Rechovos<\/strong>, signifie <strong>espace, g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9, abondance<\/strong>\u2014et surtout, <strong>la paix<\/strong>. Il y avait <strong>pas de conflit<\/strong> au-dessus de ce puits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceci, selon le Ramban, repr\u00e9sente le <strong>Troisi\u00e8me Temple<\/strong>, qui sera \u00e9ternel.<br>Nos Sages d\u00e9battent de la question de savoir si le Troisi\u00e8me Temple descendra du ciel enti\u00e8rement construit ou si le Messie et le peuple juif le b\u00e2tiront. Les \u00e9crits mystiques harmonisent ces deux points de vue\u00a0: l\u2019\u00e9difice physique sera construit sur terre, mais son pendant c\u00e9leste et spirituel descendra et s\u2019unira \u00e0 lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelle que soit la mani\u00e8re dont cela se produise, la caract\u00e9ristique d\u00e9cisive est que ce Temple ne sera pas pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 de conflits internes. <strong>Pas de bagarres. Pas de haine. Pas de querelles.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette unit\u00e9, les autres nations du monde ne viendront pas la d\u00e9truire. Au contraire, conclut le Ramban, elles le feront. <strong>rejoignez le peuple juif<\/strong>, se r\u00e9unissant pour servir Dieu \u201c \u00e9paule contre \u00e9paule \u201d dans le Troisi\u00e8me Temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le message pour nous<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;histoire des puits d&#039;Isaac n&#039;est pas un d\u00e9tail historique anodin.
