Ses fr\u00e8res, en revanche, \u00e9taient moins stricts et permettaient \u00e0 leurs serviteurs de cuisiner pour eux. Joseph craignait que ses serviteurs ne transgressent l&#039;interdiction, mais ses fr\u00e8res, quant \u00e0 eux, ne p\u00e9ch\u00e8rent en aucune fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;interdiction de consommer un membre d&#039;un animal vivant est l&#039;un des sept commandements noachides. Cette interdiction appara\u00eet pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans la Torah, dans les paroles de Dieu \u00e0 No\u00e9 et \u00e0 sa descendance, en m\u00eame temps que la permission de manger de la viande\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Mais vous ne mangerez pas la chair avec son sang\u00a0\u201d (Gen\u00e8se 9:4). La raison principale de cette interdiction est la pr\u00e9vention de la cruaut\u00e9 envers les animaux, afin de ne pas cultiver en nous cette tendance destructrice. Consommer la viande d&#039;un animal vivant est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un acte d&#039;une extr\u00eame cruaut\u00e9. Bien que les Noachides ne soient pas soumis aux m\u00eames commandements que le peuple juif concernant la souffrance animale, il existe n\u00e9anmoins une obligation rationnelle pour un Noachide de ne pas blesser, tuer ou infliger de souffrances inutiles \u00e0 un \u00eatre vivant sans but humanitaire. En l&#039;absence de r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration dans l&#039;Antiquit\u00e9, l&#039;abattage d&#039;un animal impliquait de consommer toute sa viande rapidement pour \u00e9viter qu&#039;elle ne se g\u00e2te. Pr\u00e9lever un membre d&#039;un animal vivant permettait \u00e0 une famille d&#039;obtenir une plus petite quantit\u00e9 de viande, conserv\u00e9e, tandis que l&#039;animal continuait de vivre. Cependant, selon la loi de la Torah, les contraintes alimentaires humaines ne justifient pas une telle cruaut\u00e9 envers les animaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette question a des implications actuelles qui peuvent se poser dans les abattoirs modernes o\u00f9 la rapidit\u00e9 de production joue un r\u00f4le important. Par exemple, si un animal re\u00e7oit une d\u00e9charge \u00e9lectrique mais que son c\u0153ur bat encore, et qu&#039;il n&#039;est pas encore mort, mais que sa chair est ensuite d\u00e9coup\u00e9e sur la cha\u00eene de production, cette viande est interdite car elle est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un membre d&#039;un animal vivant. Il est donc appropri\u00e9 (mais non obligatoire) pour les Noachides de se renseigner sur les conditions d&#039;abattage et de transformation de la viande dans leur r\u00e9gion afin d&#039;\u00e9viter de consommer par inadvertance un membre d&#039;un animal vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;unit\u00e9 de Dieu se r\u00e9v\u00e8le partout dans la cr\u00e9ation, m\u00eame dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des animaux. Par cons\u00e9quent, en prendre conscience constitue une pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e8re de la R\u00e9demption. Reconna\u00eetre que toutes les cr\u00e9atures sont l&#039;\u0153uvre de Dieu et que toute la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 d\u00e9pend constamment de la vitalit\u00e9 que le Cr\u00e9ateur leur insuffle est une pierre angulaire de la compr\u00e9hension de la Providence divine.
