Pour maintenir ce mensonge, Pharaon se levait t\u00f4t pour se rendre secr\u00e8tement au Nil, \u00e0 l&#039;abri des regards, afin d&#039;y faire ses besoins. Pharaon savait pertinemment qu&#039;il n&#039;\u00e9tait que chair et sang, et pourtant, il inventait de faux mythes et les r\u00e9pandait pour que son peuple le suive aveugl\u00e9ment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pourquoi Dieu a-t-il choisi d&#039;envoyer Mo\u00efse pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 cet endroit et \u00e0 cette heure exacte ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>L&#039;ordre donn\u00e9 \u00e0 Mo\u00efse visait \u00e0 confronter Pharaon au moment le plus humiliant de sa vie, \u00e0 briser le voile de ses mensonges et \u00e0 lui faire comprendre que son secret \u00e9tait d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9. Le Nil symbolisait la puissance de l&#039;\u00c9gypte et sa divinit\u00e9 principale. Le message de Mo\u00efse \u00e0 Pharaon \u00e9tait clair\u00a0: \u2019\u00a0Tu tentes de dissimuler ta nature humaine dans le Nil, mais voici, je frappe l&#039;eau de mon b\u00e2ton et la change en sang.\u00a0\u201c Dieu le punit explicitement pour avoir pr\u00e9tendu s&#039;\u00eatre cr\u00e9\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame (\u00c9z\u00e9chiel 29:3). Ainsi, il fut prouv\u00e9 que Pharaon n&#039;est pas un dieu et que le Nil n&#039;est pas une source de pouvoir ind\u00e9pendante\u00a0; tous deux sont des \u00eatres cr\u00e9\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Pour les Enfants de No\u00e9, l&#039;interdiction de l&#039;idol\u00e2trie est le premier et le plus fondamental commandement. Il \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire de saper l&#039;autorit\u00e9 morale et religieuse du Pharaon, \u00e0 ses propres yeux comme \u00e0 ceux de son peuple, afin d&#039;ouvrir la voie \u00e0 la foi en un Dieu unique. Se rendre au Nil au petit matin \u00e9tait un acte de d\u00e9mystification, levant le voile sur le grand mensonge du Pharaon. Lorsque la faiblesse du faux \u201c dieu \u201d et l&#039;absurdit\u00e9 de l&#039;idol\u00e2trie sont mises \u00e0 nu, la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 divine peut alors illuminer toute sa puissance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>L&#039;idol\u00e2trie consiste \u00e0 accorder une importance ou un pouvoir excessif \u00e0 un objet ou une entit\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e. De m\u00eame, lorsqu&#039;une personne c\u00e8de \u00e0 la col\u00e8re, elle perd souvent le contr\u00f4le et laisse ses \u00e9motions prendre le dessus, supplantant la raison et ignorant la providence divine. C&#039;est pourquoi la col\u00e8re est parfois consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une forme d&#039;idol\u00e2trie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La le\u00e7on tir\u00e9e est pertinente pour chaque Noachide. L&#039;idol\u00e2trie aujourd&#039;hui ne se manifeste pas n\u00e9cessairement par la v\u00e9n\u00e9ration de statues de bois et de pierre, mais par la tendance humaine \u00e0 accorder un pouvoir absolu et exclusif \u00e0 des facteurs temporaires et \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8res. Lorsqu&#039;une personne se lib\u00e8re de l&#039;esclavage et du besoin de para\u00eetre d&#039;une perfection illusoire (comme Pharaon a tent\u00e9 de le faire), elle m\u00e9rite la v\u00e9ritable libert\u00e9 et une vie de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 absolue.
