Pourtant, si l&#039;on regarde au-del\u00e0 des apparences, on per\u00e7oit une \u00e9tincelle d&#039;espoir et de d\u00e9sir positif. Comment pouvons-nous tirer des le\u00e7ons de cette histoire pour cultiver cette force int\u00e9rieure positive, tout en \u00e9vitant les cons\u00e9quences d\u00e9sastreuses d&#039;un conflit destructeur\u00a0?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Korach et ses partisans ne niaient pas la proph\u00e9tie de Mo\u00efse. Ils savaient avec une certitude absolue que Mo\u00efse \u00e9tait le fid\u00e8le serviteur de Dieu. Leur erreur \u00e9tait plus subtile\u00a0: ils croyaient \u00e0 tort que les structures et les limites divines pouvaient \u00eatre modifi\u00e9es ou \u00e9tendues par l\u2019initiative humaine. Ce qui animait v\u00e9ritablement l\u2019assembl\u00e9e de Korach \u00e9tait une passion d\u00e9vorante pour le sacerdoce. Ce d\u00e9sir, en soi, \u00e9tait si noble que Mo\u00efse lui-m\u00eame le reconnut, en disant\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Moi aussi, je le d\u00e9sire.\u00a0\u201d Ils aspiraient ardemment \u00e0 la charge de grand pr\u00eatre. \u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, il n\u2019y a rien de mal \u00e0 cette aspiration \u00e0 atteindre le plus haut niveau possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leur erreur fut de ne pas comprendre que la pr\u00eatrise n&#039;est ni un m\u00e9rite humain \u00e0 s&#039;approprier, ni une position politique \u00e0 transmettre. C&#039;est un r\u00f4le sp\u00e9cifique conf\u00e9r\u00e9 exclusivement par la volont\u00e9 d&#039;Hashem. L&#039;ardeur spirituelle de Korach \u00e9tait admirable, mais ses actes \u2013 la division de la communaut\u00e9 et la r\u00e9bellion contre l&#039;ordre \u00e9tabli \u2013 \u00e9taient totalement inacceptables. Il a tent\u00e9 de modifier les param\u00e8tres immuables du permis et de l&#039;interdit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous ne devons jamais laisser cette ferveur \u00e0 nous rapprocher d&#039;Hashem nous conduire \u00e0 transgresser Ses lois. Il est interdit de modifier les commandements, que ce soit en en ajoutant de nouveaux ou en retranchant \u00e0 ceux qui existent d\u00e9j\u00e0. Le d\u00e9sir est permis, mais le franchissement des limites non permises est destructeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce r\u00e9cit rec\u00e8le une v\u00e9rit\u00e9 extraordinaire pour tout \u00eatre humain. Un Noachide qui \u00e9tudie les Sept Commandements et les met en pratique est spirituellement comparable au Grand Pr\u00eatre. Nul besoin de transgresser les limites pour atteindre le plus haut niveau spirituel. La v\u00e9ritable grandeur spirituelle r\u00e9side dans le respect de l&#039;ordre de la Cr\u00e9ation.
