La lecture de la Torah de cette semaine aborde les vertus de la Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl\u00a0: pourquoi les montagnes et les vall\u00e9es sont-elles si importantes\u00a0? (D&#039;apr\u00e8s Likkutei Torah, parashat Ekev, 17:3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Montagnes, vall\u00e9es et humilit\u00e9 : comment nous rapprocher de Dieu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Plus nous devenons petits et humbles, plus notre lien avec Dieu se renforce. Mais pourquoi ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La lecture de la Torah de cette semaine met en lumi\u00e8re l&#039;une des vertus uniques de la Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl. Dans le Deut\u00e9ronome, nous lisons que c&#039;est <em>\u201c Un pays de montagnes et de vall\u00e9es, qui boit l\u2019eau de la pluie du ciel. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, ce verset d\u00e9crit une diff\u00e9rence pratique entre Isra\u00ebl et l&#039;\u00c9gypte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En \u00c9gypte, la vie d\u00e9pendait enti\u00e8rement du Nil. Pour irriguer leurs champs, les agriculteurs devaient puiser l&#039;eau dans le fleuve et la transporter jusqu&#039;aux endroits n\u00e9cessaires. L&#039;eau \u00e9tait une ressource limit\u00e9e, et sa distribution exigeait l&#039;effort humain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl est diff\u00e9rente. L\u00e0-bas, la pluie tombe directement du ciel sur les champs. Dieu lui-m\u00eame pourvoit \u00e0 l&#039;eau. Le peuple est invit\u00e9 \u00e0 avoir confiance qu&#039;il le soutiendra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pourtant, de nombreux pays poss\u00e8dent des montagnes et des vall\u00e9es. Alors pourquoi la Torah insiste-t-elle sur cet aspect comme une louange unique \u00e0 la Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl\u00a0?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9ponse se cache au-del\u00e0 du sens litt\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le paysage de l&#039;\u00e2me<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les montagnes et les vall\u00e9es ne sont pas seulement des \u00e9l\u00e9ments g\u00e9ographiques. Elles repr\u00e9sentent aussi le paysage int\u00e9rieur de chaque \u00e2me humaine et notre relation avec Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une montagne s&#039;\u00e9l\u00e8ve de la terre vers le ciel. Spirituellement, elle symbolise notre aspiration \u00e0 nous rapprocher de Dieu. Il arrive que Dieu nous semble cach\u00e9. Ce voile \u00e9veille en nous un profond d\u00e9sir de le chercher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C&#039;est un peu comme si un p\u00e8re jouait \u00e0 cache-cache avec son enfant. Quand le p\u00e8re se cache, l&#039;enfant crie\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0O\u00f9 est papa\u00a0?\u00a0\u201d Cette absence temporaire attise son d\u00e9sir de le retrouver. D\u00e8s que le p\u00e8re r\u00e9appara\u00eet, les retrouvailles sont un pur bonheur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De m\u00eame, lorsque Dieu semble se cacher, notre \u00e2me est incit\u00e9e \u00e0 le chercher avec plus d&#039;ardeur. Son secret inspire notre ascension, notre montagne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La vall\u00e9e de l&#039;humilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il y a un autre mouvement dans notre relation avec Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parfois, le changement commence en nous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lorsque nous nous d\u00e9tachons de notre ego, de nos ambitions personnelles et m\u00eame de nos int\u00e9r\u00eats spirituels, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne remarquable se produit. Au lieu de servir Dieu pour obtenir une r\u00e9compense, une reconnaissance ou un gain personnel, nous le servons simplement parce que c&#039;est ce qu&#039;il nous demande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voil\u00e0 la v\u00e9ritable humilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il ne s&#039;agit pas d&#039;autod\u00e9pr\u00e9ciation ni de faiblesse. Il s&#039;agit plut\u00f4t de la volont\u00e9 de placer la volont\u00e9 de Dieu au-dessus de la n\u00f4tre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lorsque nous nous vidons de nous-m\u00eames, nous cr\u00e9ons l&#039;espace n\u00e9cessaire pour que Dieu r\u00e9v\u00e8le pleinement son amour. Lorsque nous devenons la vall\u00e9e, Dieu r\u00e9pond par la montagne. Lorsque nous nous abaissons avec humilit\u00e9, sa pr\u00e9sence divine se r\u00e9pand sur nous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voici la signification profonde des vall\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le secret de la terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl repr\u00e9sente plus qu&#039;un lieu physique. Elle symbolise l&#039;\u00e2me humaine elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque personne poss\u00e8de un d\u00e9sir int\u00e9rieur de se connecter \u00e0 Dieu. Les montagnes et les vall\u00e9es symbolisent le mouvement constant au sein de cette relation\u00a0: l\u2019aspiration, la recherche, l\u2019accueil, l\u2019abandon et la croissance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Torah parle de <strong>montagnes<\/strong> et <strong>vall\u00e9es<\/strong> au pluriel. La tradition juive enseigne que le plus petit pluriel est deux, sugg\u00e9rant les multiples dimensions de notre relation avec Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il existe deux formes d&#039;amour et deux formes de v\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le cheminement commence souvent par un respect fondamental pour Dieu \u2014 un d\u00e9sir sinc\u00e8re de ne pas transgresser ses commandements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De l\u00e0 na\u00eet un amour simple pour Dieu. Nous contemplons la cr\u00e9ation, reconnaissons sa beaut\u00e9 et sa sagesse, et percevons l&#039;empreinte du Cr\u00e9ateur dans toute la nature. Cette prise de conscience \u00e9veille naturellement l&#039;amour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 mesure que notre relation s&#039;approfondit, nous prenons conscience que Dieu est infiniment plus grand que tout ce que notre intellect peut pleinement comprendre. Notre amour devient plus profond car il s&#039;enracine non seulement dans la compr\u00e9hension, mais aussi dans l&#039;\u00e9merveillement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enfin, vient la forme supr\u00eame de r\u00e9v\u00e9rence\u00a0: non pas la crainte du ch\u00e2timent, mais l\u2019admiration profonde. C\u2019est une conscience bouleversante de la grandeur de Dieu qui dissout l\u2019ego et nous attire \u00e0 Lui dans un attachement total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Devenir un vase vide<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Mishna dans <em>Pirkei Avot (\u00c9thique des P\u00e8res)<\/em> elle enseigne que seul un vase vide peut v\u00e9ritablement recevoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, cela semble \u00e9vident. Bien s\u00fbr qu&#039;une tasse vide peut contenir de l&#039;eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais les sages parlaient de quelque chose de bien plus profond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce n&#039;est que lorsque nous nous vidons de tout orgueil excessif, de tout d\u00e9sir \u00e9go\u00efste, de tout agenda personnel, et m\u00eame de tout besoin de r\u00e9compense spirituelle, que nous devenons capables de recevoir les plus grandes b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions de Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#039;humilit\u00e9 engendre les capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moins nous sommes pr\u00e9occup\u00e9s par nous-m\u00eames, plus Dieu a de place pour remplir nos vies de son amour, de sa sagesse et de sa pr\u00e9sence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les montagnes et les vall\u00e9es de la Terre d&#039;Isra\u00ebl sont plus qu&#039;une simple description de sa g\u00e9ographie. Elles sont une carte spirituelle de chaque \u00e2me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parfois, nous gravissons la montagne, \u00e0 la recherche de Dieu avec ferveur et d\u00e9termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parfois, nous devenons nous-m\u00eames la vall\u00e9e, nous abaissant avec humilit\u00e9 et abandon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces deux mouvements nous rapprochent de Lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le paradoxe de la vie spirituelle est que la v\u00e9ritable grandeur se trouve dans l&#039;humilit\u00e9.
