<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ha'azinu et la Terre d'Isra\u00ebl : De la Cr\u00e9ation au Jugement dernier de Dieu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce n'est pas par hasard que la Torah commence par la Cr\u00e9ation. Ses premiers mots ne s'adressent ni \u00e0 Abraham, ni \u00e0 Mo\u00efse, ni au peuple d'Isra\u00ebl, mais au Cr\u00e9ateur du ciel et de la terre (Gen\u00e8se 1:1). Il s'agit de bien plus qu'une introduction\u00a0: c'est le fondement de tout ce qui suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachi ouvre son commentaire sur Gen\u00e8se 1:1 par une question c\u00e9l\u00e8bre\u00a0: pourquoi la Torah commence-t-elle par la Cr\u00e9ation plut\u00f4t que par le premier commandement donn\u00e9 \u00e0 Isra\u00ebl\u00a0? Sa r\u00e9ponse est aussi puissante qu\u2019intemporelle. Si jamais les nations pr\u00e9tendaient qu\u2019Isra\u00ebl avait vol\u00e9 la terre de Canaan, voici la r\u00e9ponse\u00a0: la terre enti\u00e8re appartient \u00e0 Dieu. Il l\u2019a cr\u00e9\u00e9e, Il l\u2019a donn\u00e9e \u00e0 qui Il a voulu, et Il l\u2019a reprise et donn\u00e9e \u00e0 qui Il a jug\u00e9 bon (Rachi sur Gen\u00e8se 1:1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce principe se retrouve \u00e9galement dans le Cantique de Mo\u00efse, Ha'azinu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mo\u00efse prend le ciel et la terre comme t\u00e9moins :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201c Cieux, pr\u00eatez l\u2019oreille, laissez-moi parler ; que la terre entende les paroles de ma bouche \u201d (Deut\u00e9ronome 32:1\u20133).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Il rappelle ensuite \u00e0 Isra\u00ebl et aux nations que Dieu lui-m\u00eame a \u00e9tabli les fronti\u00e8res des nations :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Lorsque le Tr\u00e8s-Haut a donn\u00e9 aux nations leur h\u00e9ritage\u2026 Il a fix\u00e9 les fronti\u00e8res des peuples \u201d (Deut\u00e9ronome 32:8-9).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

En d'autres termes, aucune nation ne poss\u00e8de son territoire de plein droit. En d\u00e9finitive, Dieu est le Ma\u00eetre de la terre. Il d\u00e9termine o\u00f9 les nations habitent et quelle place occupe Isra\u00ebl dans Son plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haazinu d\u00e9crit ensuite comment Dieu a prot\u00e9g\u00e9 Isra\u00ebl \u201c comme la pupille de son \u0153il \u201d et l'a port\u00e9 comme un aigle porte ses petits (Deut\u00e9ronome 32:10-12). M\u00eame lorsqu'Isra\u00ebl s'\u00e9gare et est ch\u00e2ti\u00e9 pour cela, l'alliance de Dieu demeure. Sa discipline n'est jamais synonyme de rejet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il s'agit d'une distinction importante. L'histoire d'Isra\u00ebl comprend l'exil, la pers\u00e9cution et la souffrance, pourtant la Torah n'enseigne nulle part que Dieu a abandonn\u00e9 son alliance avec son peuple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsqu'on se penche sur l'histoire, un sch\u00e9ma frappant se d\u00e9gage\u00a0: Isra\u00ebl a \u00e9t\u00e9 attaqu\u00e9 sur sa propre terre. Durant les exils babyloniens et romains, le peuple juif a v\u00e9cu dispers\u00e9 parmi les nations, mais l'hostilit\u00e9 n'a pas cess\u00e9. Dans de nombreux pays, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pers\u00e9cut\u00e9, expuls\u00e9 ou assassin\u00e9. Le XXe si\u00e8cle a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point cette haine a tragiquement culmin\u00e9 avec la Shoah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s le retour en Terre d'Isra\u00ebl, nombreux \u00e9taient ceux qui esp\u00e9raient que le peuple juif trouverait enfin un lieu o\u00f9 vivre en s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Pourtant, m\u00eame cela ne mit pas fin aux hostilit\u00e9s. Les conflits persist\u00e8rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pourquoi?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette question n'est pas seulement politique ; elle est aussi spirituelle. Ha'azinu montre que l'histoire ne se r\u00e9sume pas au pouvoir, aux fronti\u00e8res ou aux arm\u00e9es, mais concerne la relation entre Dieu, son peuple et les nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le chant se conclut sur le juste jugement de Dieu. Apr\u00e8s qu'Isra\u00ebl a \u00e9t\u00e9 humili\u00e9 et que sa propre force s'est \u00e9vanouie, Dieu d\u00e9clare qu'il se l\u00e8vera lui-m\u00eame pour rendre justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Car l\u2019\u00c9ternel fera justice \u00e0 son peuple\u2026 La vengeance et la r\u00e9tribution m\u2019appartiennent\u2026 Il vengera le sang de ses serviteurs, il se vengera de ses adversaires et il fera l\u2019expiation pour son pays et son peuple \u201d (Deut\u00e9ronome 32:35-43).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Il est le Juge de toute la terre. Il conna\u00eet les intentions des hommes et jugera finalement toutes les nations qui continuent de condamner injustement Isra\u00ebl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C'est l\u00e0 l'un des messages centraux de Ha'azinu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En d\u00e9finitive, l'histoire du monde n'est pas \u00e9crite par les rois, les gouvernements ou les organisations internationales. Elle se d\u00e9roule sous la direction souveraine de Dieu. Il fixe les fronti\u00e8res des nations. Il pr\u00e9serve son alliance. Il n'oublie pas l'injustice subie par son peuple. Et il promet que la justice triomphera finalement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
