This means, an Existing Being, complete and perfect in all the ways of existence. He is the Cause of all that exists; their continued existence depends upon Him, and their very existence to begin with in from Him. Let it not enter your mind that He does not exist, for if He is nonexistent, the possible existence of anything else ceases to be, and nothing remains\u2014including the continued existence of any thing. On the other hand, if we consider the nonexistence of anything other than Him, the existence of the Blessed L-rd does not cease and is not diminished. Furthermore, complete Unity and Rule belong only to Him, may his name be blessed. For His Own Existence is sufficient for Him; His Own Existence is enough, and He has no need for any other existing thing. However, all that exists besides Him, whether angels, or the celestial bodies and what is within them or above them\u2014their existence depends upon His.
