Once upon a time, there was a father and his children.
They were sitting together at home.

The children loved computer games.
Sometimes they played exciting games.
With monsters and big, scary bosses.

But after playing, one child felt afraid.
“Dad,” he said, “that monster feels real.”

Dad smiled calmly.
“It’s just a game,” he said.
“It looks real, but it is not real.”

He sat next to them.
“In the real world, there is only One who is truly strong,” he said.
“And that is God. He takes care of us.”

The children listened.
They already felt a little better.

“Games are okay,” said Dad,
“but we must remember:
everything in the game is pretend.”

The children nodded.
That evening, they chose a calmer game.

And before they went to sleep,
they felt safe and happy.
