Uno dei motivi per cui queste erano proibite era che erano eccessive, attribuendo un senso di permanenza alla morte, quando in realt\u00e0 sappiamo che l&#039;anima della persona continua ad esistere e vive nell&#039;Aldil\u00e0. La donna continu\u00f2 a farlo e poco dopo perse anche i figli rimasti, una punizione per il lutto eccessivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il Talmud continua a descrivere il processo del lutto. A tappe, l&#039;intensit\u00e0 del lutto si riduce. Il periodo di lutto varia a seconda del grado di parentela tra il defunto e il suo familiare: si piange per dodici mesi la perdita di un genitore, ma solo per un mese la perdita di un figlio, della moglie o di un fratello o una sorella.
