Il rabbino Nachman insegna:,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tutti desiderano venerare il Nome di Dio, ma non tutti sono in grado di pentirsi. A volte una persona non prova alcun desiderio. Anche chi \u00e8 spinto a pentirsi potrebbe non raggiungere la sua unica porta della Teshuvah, e anche se ci riesce, potrebbe essere che la porta sia chiusa. Ecco perch\u00e9 non tutti raggiungono il pentimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma recitando i Salmi, anche chi non sente alcun impulso pu\u00f2 essere ispirato a pentirsi. I Salmi possono condurlo alla sua porta unica e aprirla, cos\u00ec <\/a>portandolo a Teshuvah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Per questo motivo il re Davide si defin\u00ec "l'uomo che sollev\u00f2 il giogo... il dolce cantore d'Israele" (II Samuele 23:1). I nostri saggi spiegano che Davide si defin\u00ec "l'uomo che sollev\u00f2 il giogo" perch\u00e9 sollev\u00f2 il giogo del pentimento attraverso la sua stessa Teshuvah. Davide era un grande Tzaddik e non avrebbe dovuto peccare, ma Dio lo fece peccare per insegnare a tutti la via della Teshuvah. Il re Davide fu il principale esempio di Teshuvah e il suo cammino \u00e8 esposto nei Salmi, che scrisse con un tale spirito di santit\u00e0 che tutti possono ritrovare se stessi in essi e quindi tornare a Dio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
