In Genesi 4:26<\/a>1<\/a><\/sup>, leggiamo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Questo versetto ha diverse spiegazioni, soprattutto perch\u00e9 il testo ebraico pu\u00f2 essere letto in modi alternativi. Ad esempio, la Tanach dell'edizione Stone lo traduce secondo la spiegazione di Rashi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026allora il Nome di Hashem fu profanato.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sefaria<\/a> offre una traduzione diversa basata sulla spiegazione di Ibn Ezra:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026fu allora che le persone cominciarono a invocare l\u2019Unico Dio per nome.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queste spiegazioni sollevano la domanda: le persone hanno iniziato ad adorare l'Unico Dio solo al tempo di Enosh, oppure \u00e8 successo qualcos'altro, ovvero che le persone hanno iniziato a rifiutare la vera adorazione e hanno invece introdotto l'idolatria?<\/p>\n\n\n\n


L'adorazione di Dio prima di Enosh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adamo aveva gi\u00e0 ricevuto da Dio l'ordine di non dedicarsi all'adorazione degli idoli, come uno dei sei (o forse sette) comandamenti che erano stati dati tramite lui all'umanit\u00e0. Come spiegato in Il Codice Divino<\/em> del rabbino Moshe Weiner,2<\/a><\/sup> Questo comando di Dio ad Adamo includeva sia il riconoscimento della Sua sovranit\u00e0 sia il non adorare altri dei. Questo comandamento contiene i seguenti tre elementi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. \u201cIo sono Dio; non sostituirmi.\u201d<\/strong> Questa \u00e8 la proibizione dell'idolatria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. \u201cIo sono Dio; non maleditemi.\u201d<\/strong> Questo \u00e8 il divieto di profanare il Nome di Dio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \u201cIo sono Dio; temete Me.\u201d<\/strong> Questo \u00e8 l'obbligo di avere riverenza per Dio.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Il principio della Torah orale affermato in Sifrei<\/em> (Devarim 46 e Devarim 11:19) insegna: \u201cDal negativo si deduce il positivo; e dal positivo il negativo.\u201d<\/em>3<\/a><\/sup> Se l'adorazione degli idoli \u00e8 proibita, ne consegue logicamente che si \u00e8 obbligati ad adorare l'Unico Dio. Tuttavia, questo obbligo non si limita ad avere una comprensione una tantum del comandamento. Come possiamo leggere in Il Codice Divino<\/em>,4<\/a><\/sup> Ogni persona ha l'obbligo continuo di pensare e contemplare l'esistenza del Signore dell'universo e la Sua grandezza. Questa riflessione continua rafforza la conoscenza di Dio nel cuore e nella mente. Re Davide illustra questo concetto dicendo (Salmi 16:8): "Io pongo sempre Dio davanti a me", a significare che questa consapevolezza dovrebbe essere costantemente presente per evitare di perdersi o contemplare altre forme di adorazione.5<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pertanto, accettando il divieto di adorare gli idoli come un comandamento di Dio, non stiamo solo negando la falsa adorazione, ma stiamo anche affermando attivamente l'adorazione dell'Unico Dio. Questa affermazione deve essere accompagnata da una contemplazione continua, per quanto possibile, assicurando che il cuore e la mente rimangano sempre allineati con il riconoscimento della grandezza di Dio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In Genesi 4<\/a>, vediamo che Caino e Abele portarono entrambi offerte a Dio, indicando che il culto sacrificale dell'Unico Dio esisteva gi\u00e0. Lo appresero dall'esempio del sacrificio a Dio portato dal loro padre Adamo.6<\/a><\/sup> Tuttavia, la menzione di Enosh coincide con la menzione di un cambiamento significativo nel modo in cui le persone concretizzavano il loro rapporto con il Divino. Le persone iniziarono a dare pi\u00f9 forma e struttura alla loro vita religiosa. Tuttavia, insieme a questo sviluppo, introdussero anche un grave errore, che esploreremo nella prossima sezione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    L'introduzione dell'idolatria al tempo di Enosh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Diverse spiegazioni di Genesi 4:26 derivano dalla parola ebraica \u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d7\u05b7\u05dc<\/em> \u00a0("huchal"), che pu\u00f2 significare "iniziato", ma \u00e8 anche associato a "chullin" (profano). Rambam (Maimonide) spiega che al tempo di Enosh si verific\u00f2 un grave errore. Inizialmente si cominci\u00f2 a credere che Dio avesse delegato il governo del mondo alle stelle e ai pianeti come Suoi ufficiali, che, a loro volta, dovevano essere adorati per onorare Dio. Questo equivoco, noto come merda<\/em>, sosteneva che le creazioni celesti (come le costellazioni e gli angeli) funzionavano in modo autonomo da Dio e potevano razionare la quantit\u00e0 di benedizioni fisiche concesse al mondo secondo la propria volont\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Invece di adorare Dio direttamente, gli uomini iniziarono a concentrare la loro venerazione su stelle e pianeti, che consideravano poteri indipendenti da Lui designati. Ci\u00f2 port\u00f2 alla costruzione di luoghi di culto per questi corpi celesti e all'offerta di sacrifici. Cos\u00ec, sebbene gli uomini iniziarono a "invocare il nome del Signore" durante il tempo di Enosh, il loro culto fu contaminato dall'idolatria. Il puro concetto di adorazione dell'Unico Dio fu distorto e oscurato da questa credenza errata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Idolatria e il concetto di Shittuf<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Lo stato di merda<\/em> all'interno della legge della Torah per i non ebrei \u00e8 stato oggetto di dibattito. I Tosafot (che erano alcuni dei principali commentatori talmudici medievali) suggeriscono che per i non ebrei, idea<\/u><\/em><\/strong> di merda<\/em> non costituisce necessariamente idolatria. Il rabbino Moshe Isserles (il Rema) nota nel suo commento al Shulchan Aruch<\/em> che i non ebrei non sono tenuti ad aderire allo stesso rigido monoteismo degli ebrei. A suo parere, un non ebreo credenza<\/u><\/em><\/strong> in un merda<\/em> Non \u00e8 considerato una violazione del comandamento noachide contro l'adorazione degli idoli. Tuttavia, \u00e8 falso, e persino a un non ebreo non \u00e8 permesso adorare altre entit\u00e0 al posto di Dio o in combinazione con Lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Solo l'Unico Dio pu\u00f2 essere adorato<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Il Tenach<\/em> (Bibbia ebraica) afferma ripetutamente che solo l'Unico Dio pu\u00f2 essere adorato. In Deuteronomio 4:35<\/a> leggiamo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    35<\/strong>\u00a0Ti \u00e8 stato mostrato affinch\u00e9 tu sappia che il Signore \u00e8 Dio; non c'\u00e8 nessun altro all'infuori di Lui.<\/td>\u05dc\u05d4<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u05d0\u05b7\u05ea\u05b8\u05bc\u05d4 \u05d4\u05b8\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05ea\u05b8 \u05dc\u05b8\u05d3\u05b7\u05e2\u05b7\u05ea, \u05db\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9 \u05d3' \u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d0 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05e7\u05d9\u05dd: \u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05df \u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3, \u05de\u05b4\u05dc\u05b0\u05bc\u05d1\u05b7\u05d3\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    In Isaia 42:8<\/a> Dio dichiara:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Isaia 45:5<\/a> conferma ulteriormente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5<\/strong>\u00a0Io sono il Signore e non ce n'\u00e8 alcun altro; fuori di me non c'\u00e8 Dio; ti ho cinto, anche se tu non mi conoscevi;<\/td>\u05d4<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u05d0\u05b2\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d3' \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05df \u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3, \u05d6\u05d5\u05bc\u05dc\u05b8\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05df \u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05e7\u05d9\u05dd; \u05d0\u05b2\u05d0\u05b7\u05d6\u05b6\u05bc\u05e8\u05b0\u05da\u05b8, \u05d5\u05b0\u05dc\u05b9\u05d0 \u05d9\u05b0\u05d3\u05b7\u05e2\u05b0\u05ea\u05b8\u05bc\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Ci\u00f2 chiarisce che qualsiasi forma di adorazione che non sia rivolta esclusivamente a Dio \u00e8 idolatria. Sebbene gli uomini al tempo di Enosh potessero sinceramente cercare di onorare Dio, la loro incomprensione li condusse sempre pi\u00f9 verso l'idolatria. Il loro errore fu sfruttato da un numero crescente di falsi profeti che introdussero sempre pi\u00f9 idoli. Tutto ci\u00f2 distorse notevolmente il loro rapporto con il Creatore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Conclusione<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Al tempo di Enosh, idee sbagliate su come onorare Dio indussero le persone a concepire un modo alternativo di relazionarsi a Lui, e questo port\u00f2 a un'adorazione mal indirizzata. Mentre le persone iniziarono a "invocare il nome del Signore", questo fu presto corrotto dall'idolatria quando attribuirono il nome di Dio alle creature che sceglievano di adorare \u2013 un tragico cambiamento che sostitu\u00ec il loro rapporto con l'Unico Vero Dio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
