I fratelli di Giuseppe, tuttavia, non erano cos\u00ec severi e permisero ai loro servi di cucinare per loro. Giuseppe era preoccupato che i servi potessero trasgredire il divieto, ma i suoi fratelli, in realt\u00e0, non commisero alcun peccato in questa faccenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non mangiare un arto di un animale vivo \u00e8 uno dei Sette Comandamenti dei Noachidi. Questo divieto compare per la prima volta nella Torah nelle parole di Dio a No\u00e8 e ai suoi discendenti, insieme al permesso di mangiare carne: &quot;Ma non mangerete carne con il suo sangue, la sua vita&quot; (Genesi 9:4). Mangiare carne di un animale vivo \u00e8 considerato un atto di estrema crudelt\u00e0. Sebbene ai Noachidi non sia imposto di causare sofferenza agli animali nella stessa misura del popolo ebraico, esiste comunque un obbligo razionale per un Noachide di non ferire, uccidere o causare dolore inutile a una creatura vivente senza uno scopo umano benefico. In assenza di refrigerazione nei tempi antichi, macellare un animale richiedeva di consumare tutta la sua carne in breve tempo, per evitare che si deteriorasse. Tagliare un arto da un animale vivo forniva a una famiglia una quantit\u00e0 minore di carne conservata mentre l&#039;animale continuava a vivere. Tuttavia, nella legge della Torah, le limitazioni alimentari umane non giustificano una crudelt\u00e0 cos\u00ec grave nei confronti degli animali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La questione ha implicazioni attuali che possono sorgere nei moderni impianti di lavorazione della carne, dove la velocit\u00e0 di lavorazione gioca un ruolo importante. Ad esempio, se un animale ha ricevuto una scossa elettrica stordente ma il suo cuore batte ancora, non \u00e8 ancora morto, ma poi la carne viene tagliata dall&#039;animale sulla linea di produzione, in tal caso la carne \u00e8 proibita in quanto considerata un arto di un animale vivo. \u00c8 quindi opportuno (ma non obbligatorio) che i Noachidi indaghino sulle condizioni di macellazione e lavorazione della carne nella loro zona per evitare di consumare inavvertitamente un arto di un animale vivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;unit\u00e0 di Dio \u00e8 rivelata ovunque nella creazione, persino nella realt\u00e0 degli animali e delle bestie. Pertanto, la consapevolezza di ci\u00f2 costituisce la preparazione per l&#039;Era della Redenzione. Il riconoscimento che tutte le creature sono opera di Dio e che tutta la realt\u00e0 dipende costantemente dalla vitalit\u00e0 che il Creatore fornisce \u00e8 una pietra angolare per comprendere la Divina Provvidenza. La profezia afferma che in futuro: &quot;Perch\u00e9 la terra sar\u00e0 piena della conoscenza del Signore, come le acque ricoprono il mare&quot; (Isaia 11:9).
