Dopo che il Faraone indur\u00ec il proprio cuore durante le piaghe iniziali, il Creatore lo pun\u00ec &quot;misura per misura&quot; e lo priv\u00f2 della capacit\u00e0 di scegliere il bene (&quot;Perch\u00e9 ho indurito il suo cuore&quot;). Lo scopo dell&#039;indurimento del suo cuore era dimostrare al Faraone che non era padrone di s\u00e9 stesso, ma piuttosto uno strumento nelle mani della Divina Provvidenza. Il divieto di bestemmia \u00e8 una delle Sette Leggi Noachidi. Il dovere di un Noachide \u00e8 riconoscere il Creatore, servirLo e onorare il Suo nome. Anche il Faraone era vincolato da questo comando, ma attraverso le sue parole bestemmi\u00f2 e insult\u00f2 Hashem, violando cos\u00ec questo divieto. Il Faraone si considerava un idolo. Il divieto di idolatria \u00e8 presente in tutti e tre gli &quot;abiti dell&#039;anima&quot;: pensiero, parola e azione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In pratica: il divieto di offrire sacrifici o di prostrarsi davanti a un idolo. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nel discorso: il divieto di profanare il nome di Dio (come fece il Faraone nella sua sfida). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nel pensiero: qui risiede un&#039;intuizione importante: il pensiero dell&#039;idolatria \u00e8 proibito a un non ebreo, anche se non viene espresso esteriormente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Perch\u00e9 si dovrebbe evitare il pensiero dell&#039;idolatria? Il pensiero \u00e8 definito una &quot;veste sottile&quot;, pi\u00f9 vicina all&#039;anima umana della parola o dell&#039;azione. I nostri Saggi insegnano che &quot;chiunque riconosca l&#039;idolatria \u00e8 come se avesse bestemmiato e insultato il Nome di Dio&quot; (Rambam, leggi sull&#039;idolatria, capitolo 2). Il pensiero che il mondo sia guidato da potenze straniere (idolatria) \u00e8 di per s\u00e9 un ramo del divieto di bestemmia e profanazione (Rabbi Jonatan Shteif, Mitzvot Hasham, pagine 315-318). Quando una persona (ebrea o non ebrea) accetta un&#039;autorit\u00e0 straniera come una divinit\u00e0 nel suo cuore e nella sua mente, nega l&#039;unit\u00e0 di Dio nel suo pensiero e profana il Suo onore. \u00c8 anche considerato un ramo del divieto di idolatria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pertanto, un pensiero idolatrico \u00e8 allo stesso tempo una forma di bestemmia verso il Cielo nel momento in cui viene concepito, e un&#039;estensione del divieto di idolatria. Sebbene un tribunale terreno non possa punire una persona per i suoi pensieri, l&#039;impatto spirituale rimane tuttavia sotto il giudizio divino. Mantenere puri i nostri pensieri \u00e8 essenziale per una vera relazione con il Creatore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Anche dopo che Dio indur\u00ec il cuore del Faraone, c&#039;era una via d&#039;uscita? La risposta \u00e8 s\u00ec. Poich\u00e9 il Faraone contamin\u00f2 i suoi pensieri e le sue parole, l&#039;assistenza divina nell&#039;aprire le porte del pentimento fu negata. Tuttavia, la via non era del tutto preclusa. Anche senza l&#039;aiuto celeste, una persona pu\u00f2 comunque pentirsi attraverso uno straordinario sforzo personale. Il Faraone fu punito perch\u00e9 non si impegn\u00f2 in quello sforzo; non si pent\u00ec, nonostante la possibilit\u00e0, per quanto difficile, rimanesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Da questo, possiamo imparare quanto sia vitale mantenere puri i tre involucri dell&#039;anima e dedicarli al servizio di Dio. Anche nel pensiero, dove non c&#039;\u00e8 azione fisica, \u00e8 molto importante proteggersi dai pensieri negativi e aumentare le riflessioni positive sull&#039;infinita grandezza del Creatore. Il cammino del Noachide non consiste solo nel &quot;non fare&quot; il male; si tratta di &quot;fare&quot; il bene riconoscendo la presenza di Dio nel mondo.
