Ma riflette qualcosa di molto antico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per duemila anni, gli ebrei sono stati posti al centro del disordine mondiale:<br>Hai ucciso Cristo.<br>Hai respinto il profeta.<br>Hai causato corruzione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ora la struttura \u00e8 invertita:<br>Non <em>\u201c&quot;hai causato la caduta del mondo&quot;,\u201d<\/em> Ma <em>\u201cne stai impedendo la redenzione.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La costante non \u00e8 la teologia. \u00c8 la centralizzazione della colpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quindi ci poniamo tre domande:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cos&#039;\u00e8 la redenzione secondo il Tanakh?<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cosa significa veramente teshuvah?<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chi \u00e8 responsabile della direzione morale del mondo?<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In che tipo di mondo entrerebbe il Messia?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I profeti non descrivono un reset magico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Zaccaria 14:9, Dio \u00e8 riconosciuto come Re di tutta la terra. In Zaccaria 8:23, le nazioni si uniscono a Israele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma una tale realt\u00e0 presuppone un mondo capace di sostenerla: tribunali funzionanti, meno violenza, vera responsabilit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Isaia 2:2-4, la Torah esce da Sion e la guerra cessa. Perch\u00e9? Perch\u00e9 &quot;la terra sar\u00e0 piena della conoscenza del Signore&quot; (11:9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nel Tanakh, la redenzione significa un mondo che diventa pi\u00f9 giusto, non semplicemente pi\u00f9 religioso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anche Amos inizia condannando le nazioni circostanti per la violenza e la crudelt\u00e0 prima di rivolgersi a Israele. Dio giudica l&#039;ingiustizia ovunque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Che cosa \u00e8 la Teshuvah?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il Talmud (Sanhedrin 97b) insegna che la teshuvah avvicina la redenzione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teshuvah significa letteralmente &quot;ritorno&quot;, un riorientamento verso il bene. Non perfezione, ma movimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il Rambam, nella Mishneh Torah, scrive che Israele sar\u00e0 redento attraverso la teshuvah. Ma la responsabilit\u00e0 morale non \u00e8 esclusivamente ebraica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anche le nazioni hanno obblighi universali: divieti contro l&#039;omicidio, il furto, la corruzione, l&#039;immoralit\u00e0 sessuale e il dovere di istituire tribunali. Quando le societ\u00e0 riducono la violenza e rafforzano la giustizia, anche questo \u00e8 teshuvah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con circa 15 milioni di ebrei in un mondo di 8 miliardi di persone, la condizione morale dell&#039;umanit\u00e0 non pu\u00f2 logicamente dipendere solo da loro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smetti di calcolare la fine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nel Sanhedrin 97-99, il Talmud mette severamente in guardia dal calcolare il momento esatto della redenzione. Quando le persone sono eccessivamente certe del momento, iniziano ad attribuire la colpa quando la realt\u00e0 non corrisponde alla loro teoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Il modello del Rambam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nella Mishneh Torah (Hilchot Melachim 11\u201312), il Rambam descrive il Messia come un re umano della stirpe di Davide: che restaura la sovranit\u00e0, raduna gli esuli, ricostruisce il Tempio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nessuna sospensione della natura.
