Rosh Hashanah non commemora un evento nazionale o storico specifico di una nazione. \u00c8 il giorno in cui tutti gli abitanti della terra vengono giudicati davanti al Creatore dell&#039;universo. \u00c8 un&#039;antica usanza ebraica mangiare dolci \u2013 e intingere una mela nel miele \u2013 come segno di un anno buono e dolce (anche i Noachidi possono seguire questa usanza, tuttavia non \u00e8 obbligatoria). Come possiamo mangiare dolci e gioire in questa festivit\u00e0 quando sappiamo che tutti gli abitanti del mondo saranno giudicati in questo giorno?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosh Hashanah significa letteralmente &quot;Capo dell&#039;Anno&quot;, non &quot;Capodanno&quot;. Proprio come la testa e il cervello controllano e dirigono ogni organo del corpo, cos\u00ec la nostra consapevolezza, le nostre preghiere, la nostra determinazione e le nostre azioni in questo giorno esercitano un&#039;influenza decisiva su tutti i giorni dell&#039;anno a venire. La routine quotidiana e le difficolt\u00e0 dell&#039;anno a volte ci fanno dimenticare lo scopo principale per cui siamo venuti al mondo. La nostra attenzione a Rosh Hashanah dovrebbe essere principalmente una ferma decisione di servire Dio pi\u00f9 profondamente e con gioia nell&#039;anno a venire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#039;incoronazione del re \u00e8 il momento centrale di Rosh Hashanah. Pertanto, come nell&#039;incoronazione di un re in carne e ossa, la gioia si esprime in ogni modo, incluso il consumo di dolci. Questi cibi simbolici esprimono la nostra preghiera e la speranza che Dio ci conceda un anno buono e dolce. Alla vigilia di Rosh Hashanah, l&#039;energia e la vitalit\u00e0 divine che sostengono la creazione si ritirano alla loro fonte. La continua esistenza dell&#039;universo dipende dalla rinnovata volont\u00e0 di Dio di preservare l&#039;esistenza del mondo in ogni istante. Questa volont\u00e0 divina si risveglia quando accettiamo la Sua regalit\u00e0 a Rosh Hashanah. Riconoscere la regalit\u00e0 di Dio \u00e8 espressione della prima delle Sette Leggi Noachidi: il divieto dell&#039;idolatria e la fede nell&#039;assoluta Unicit\u00e0 del Creatore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosh Hashanah \u00e8 una festivit\u00e0 ebraica, ma riveste un significato profondo per ogni essere umano. In questo senso, Rosh Hashanah ci permette di comprendere il nostro vero, positivo ed elevato ruolo: incoronare Dio come Re. Rosh Hashanah \u00e8 un periodo di sincera preghiera durante il quale chiediamo a Dio Onnipotente di concedere a tutte le Sue creature un anno di pace, prosperit\u00e0, salute e benedizione. Ma, oltre al timore reverenziale e al rispetto, \u00e8 un giorno di grande gioia in cui celebriamo la nostra fede nel Creatore e il privilegio di servirLo.
