He teaches the people to return to G-d, to His statutes and laws, to return to the Holy Land, how to rebuild the Temple, and how to study and teach Torah. For they are and will be a light of the nations &#8211; \u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05a5\u05d5\u05b9\u05e8 \u05d2\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05d9\u05b4\u05bd\u05dd (Isaiah 42:6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also read that the construction of the Temple creates an awareness among the nations about the Faithfulness of the Eternal One. This awareness will be increased and the nations will long to learn more about G-d. They want to learn about who G-d is and what He wants from mankind. It will create a thirst for knowledge and they will start searching for it. We read in Isaiah 11:9:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u05b4\u05bc\u05bd\u05d9\u05be\u05de\u05b8\u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05a3\u05d4 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b8\u0597\u05e8\u05b6\u05e5 \u05d3\u05b5\u05bc\u05e2\u05b8\u05d4\u0599 \u05d0\u05b6\u05ea\u05be\u05d9\u05b0\u05be\u05d4\u05b9\u05d5\u05b8\u0594\u05d4 \u05db\u05b7\u05bc\u05de\u05b7\u05bc\u0596\u05d9\u05b4\u05dd \u05dc\u05b7\u05d9\u05b8\u05bc\u05a5\u05dd \u05de\u05b0\u05db\u05b7\u05e1\u05b4\u05bc\u05bd\u05d9\u05dd\u05c3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor the land shall be filled with devotion to the G-d, as water covers the sea.\u201d<a id=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"#_ftn2\">[2]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3.5.b Contemporary significance for Noahides<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The basis of the first Noahide Commandment ( the prohibition of idolatry) is: &#8220;to know that there is One G-d.&#8221; The knowledge of G-d is the basic foundation and is included in the first commandment. In addition, the first principle of righteous faith is to know that there is one Primary Being that created everything that exists. All entities in the spiritual and physical domains arise only from the truth of His Being. This Being is the G-d of the universe and the Master of the whole earth. He controls everything we know and everything that exists. This G-d is One, and there can only be One; not two or more. <a href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>This obligation, which applies to all times, is the commandment and obligation that all people \u2014 after all, we are all descendants of Noah \u2014 must maintain. At the time of the First and Second Temple there were Noahides, these people were called G-d-fearing people. After the destruction of the Second Temple and the restraining order by many governments between Jews and non-Jews, there have been very few Noahides for centuries.
